the 28-135 is THE lens for air to air work mate.

The only professions that actually really need digital these days are press and sports photography.

And the same reasons apply in many cases to the airshow photographer.

Theres no substitute for good glass though.

Wet film is dead (for airshow use anyway)

I agree with your point about Lenses, theres no point in buying the best CMOS sensor going then putting cheap glass in front of it.

If you have one taken a bit earlier than the one with the Spifire in, I am off the picture to the right. Not that I would be able to find myself anyway.

That’d be nice, I was standing by the Old WW2 Ambulance which was parked in from of the row of tents to the Left of the Palace as you look at it. Roughly in line with the Speakers behind the island.

Approx 300 yards away from the Commentry box.
