Bugger me sideways and call be Sebastian that Sunderland shot is amazing. Did they get away with it?
Put her in the NASM – she is American built and has been sponsored by National Geographic – she could compliment the Concorde.
Straight into a storage shed to be hidden for many years 🙁
Anyway I’m sure she’ll end up in good cdare somewhere. Its important however to keep her exactly as she is now, every last sticker, signature and patch.
As an aside I’m sure the sponsorship logos will make interesting reading in 20 years time.
John
Send it over here, were as good with biplanes as you lot are with Beaufighters. We’ll do it cheapor and faster. The UK is also a mine of information regarding the colour green, we used to paint our racing cars that colour you know.
Maybe we could arrange a swap 😉
Any mention of Hessian?
Yeah, thank god I missed the man himself 😉
Nice shots Mark, I thought I spotted you shooting something moving for a change.
Looks familiar??

Cracking stuff
The Lysander has a broken Mag, it will be fixed in the week (so the Chief Engineer tells me).
Cracking stuff Ronnie, it was really good to meet you at last yesterday. Thanks for the PS advice I’ll try and put it to good use.
Dont be a stranger at the next show, we usually meet up beforehand for a couple of small beverages. 😉
Tracey
I’ll be there if I can.
Lovely pictures Archer my favourite has to be the Spitfire with the hangar behind.
Good to meet you at last.
Ok no worries.
Thanks for the update and good luck in the new job.
PS I have no issues with the exclusion.
Thanks Rob
LS as you can see I have loads, however as they were taken during my period of exclusion I dont feel I should post them here.
Hows the Rapide rebuild going?
MAybe I am just lucky, but I have had no problems with my 100-400 so far (touch wood)
Well you have got at least 4 forumites in that lot 😀
What you need is a Konica Minolta 7D. A wonderful camera, very good for the keen amateur like your good self.
All the usual features, 6 Mega Pixels with a very nice lens.
Oh and I have one in stock 😀
Seriously, whatever you buy will be superseded sooner rather than later, what you need to bear in mind is that just because it has been doenst mean you are anyless happy with it than when you bought it. I used my D60 quite a lot over the weekend (in preference to the 1Dmk2), it produced some great shots.
Doest the camera you like tick all the boxes? If so then get it, dont wait for the next one to come out because something will supersed it.
