Flypast Magazine defines Historic as 1960’s or before I think.
Not sure what the forum rules are, common sense most likely.

I’ll try but I have to try and get the last day of the week booked off. As I have the 4 days previous booked because of a prior engagement then it shouldnt be a problem. But they can be funny nowadays.

So absolutely nothing is as good as film and your way of storing it and we are all wasting our time taking digital images.

You’ll have to face facts sooner or later Windows XP will last longer than film production.

You clearly arent going to change your mind, and nor should you. If you are happy with how you take and archive your photographs then that is excellent.

As long as you keep taking them then thats fine by me 😉

So instead of opening a photo album or box of slides, I double click on a file on my PC (whic is on 24/and was designed to be so) and open a picture. Stored using an archoive systema and found by searching on a keyword

I can no more carry a PC around with me that you can all of your photo collection, but my way takes up much less space :).

    Its horses for courses really.

Something obviously went very wrong in the production process.

Less to do with the image capture and more to do with the woeful production standards of most modern magazines methinks.
