Tigger Moth over Hutton today, looked like it had WWI markings !!! but I may of been wrong.
So anyway, put it back into 2nd lt Belts colours, single seat config then all is sorted.
after many hours in the Harvard I would never want to go in the jump seat of a aeroplane I could not get out of in a hurry if needed.

Can we start a poll?
Hi Transportraits,
I know they were collecting the aircraft form the 60s but the museum proper did not open untill 72 i think, somewhere I have the opening programe and flying display details.
Two more below

Daz, correct about the Spit
John H, yes its RAY !
Daz, yes the CASA HE which ended up with Aces High at North Weald
Tom D 72, yes the scanner has a part to do slides and negs ( more negs coming tonight)
Eric Mc, I got the date wrong on Sally B it was 75 i think.
JDK, not got a clue about the model, may of been a Hampden.
I have a cunning plan, I think the Spit should be donated to our museum then you cant take it out on the IWM.
Well it was worth the try!
Very good Colin. Just shows what has come and gone….nostalgia isn’t what it used to be 😉
Hi Albert,
I feel so privilaged to have seen it while it was here, I just cannot believe its 33 + years since the pictures were taken I dont feel any older But I have had a hair cut since then, proof below 🙂

ARLG, you got to go for it we need to see this stuff I got so many more to scan but its a bit of a time thing and I have things more pressing to do today.
I think its time we had a good look at a Lanc flap
Hi Peter, it looks to me like it could be part of a wing Flap, the colouration on face side I think is from where it has been laying for many years, part exposed part not and poss not a defined line from painting.
The hinge part looks like it could have gone onto some kind of roller which is typical of a flap.
Sorry im not that much help but the build looks familiar
From memory I think it was an extention to the existing bunker, I also remember seeing the steps leading to the old bunker but I never got a chance to take a look.
I did stand and look towards london over the ceders though 😀
I better keep quiet then !!!
