    Was on southend seafront Sunday and watched the Spitfire overfly, not sure myself which one but defo cannon wing

    Cessna 182 I think over the fort along with A Yak later in the day and a Merlin heard in the distance

    Stearman over the Fort today around 10 this morning at about 1500′, then a Spitfire heading SW right over the top at 2000′ not sure what one.

    Looks like the ring projector but the pictures are not much good, ring and red bead.

    BBMF over the top of the house in Billericay 5 mins ago, around 1200′ heading north straight for the stansted zone.

    the dornier was the first aircraft I found circa 1970, it crashed in 41 i think some parts were on ebay last week not sure who was selling them, I still have my finds and I still visit the crash site at least once a year normaly when chessnutting in the Autum

    Now a yellow thingy flying at quite a hight over Ingatestoneish this afternoon, nice sounding engine but the bino’s were not focusing well, or was it my eyes?
    Back online now after the house move, took them nearly two weeks to get working hmmmmmm.
    So what was it?

    Colin – Count yourself lucky ! Most ex wives seem to love burning pictures of aeroplanes even more than throwing clothes out of the window! She might move sometime and your chance might be there to retrieve the treasured item (not the ex wife!).

    Well David, that is a way to look at it I supose ! My eldest son Darren is into aviation and curator of our museum now so I hope he will at some point find them and let me have them back, the photos that is , not the Ex 😮

    I’m sure that RR299 was there in 91 going from memory.

    I have pictures from that show but unfortunatley they are in my ex wife loft with little or no chance of them see the light of day again.

    Did RR299 ever display at Biggin Hill? I don’t think I ever got to see her. 🙁

    I am sure RR299 was at Biggin circa 1991, I was there with the Harvard and was given an invite up inside which I had to decline due to prepping the Harvard for display, I was hoping to go back later for a view inside but did not. went in the Hendon one about 1977ish.

    yes I did see it west of Billericay heading North. that was quick or has he had to turn back for a reason?
    I know there is a Military vehicle thingy going on a Dammings Hall today could be that.

    Spitty heading SW to NE Sunday afternoon straight over the Fort, heard it did not see it was in side at the time, Any Clues???
