Sam, ignore PMN’s comments! The best pilots land with the undercarriage up. Take a look at Irish Dave………
It’s basically cropping/levelling, levels (or exposure as it is in RAW, which Adam shoots), a slight saturation boost and sharpening.
And abit more 😎
Spalds spends most his time levelling though, because he’s a WAC who likes sloping horizons. 😀
It’s actually usually because I am drunk, or if not, hungover……
That COA left it a bit late didn’t he!?
Cheers Phil, there was very little wind (other than me) and so alot of late rotations 🙂
Cheers for the comments guys.

“This is proof positive that passengers should not book their holidays with flaky, financially stretched airlines such as XL. Passengers should only book reservations with financially strong airlines such as Ryanair whom they know will be here for the long term. We are pleased to be able to rescue these passengers and facilitate the CAA in their efforts to repatriate them. We strongly advise passengers to be more discerning when they book their holidays and look first at the financial position of the airline with which they book”.
Ryanair aren’t ‘ATOL’ protected themselves 😀
The last time I fell off my bike (a while ago) my helmet stopped my head getting a little messed up.
Your head is already messed up mate 🙂

Ok…am rather :oed to be posting about this particular issue on an open forum, however, I am hoping to get some sensible advice on ‘do’s’ and ‘dont’s’ for a first date, and as to where I could/should take someone…cinema, restaurant, drink at the local…any suggestions?
The key on a date is to just be yourself.
He/She (haha) has agreed to go out with you because she likes you (to some degree) and so it is no longer your job to impress her or make her like you, but for you not to mess the date up. Be yourself, don’t show off and don’t try to be someone or do something that you aren’t
With regard to where to go and what to do: Well every individual and every situation is different so there isn’t a general rule. Use your gut instinct in what would be acceptable as a first date? Ask yourself, is a drink to informal, or is a night at the prom’s a bit heavy? These are questions that only you can work out based on where you stand with her at the moment.
Also keep the first date short (ish), ensure it doesn’t drag out for too long. A short but pleasant evening will be better in the long run than a boring, long and run out date. Remember, even if you only see her for a couple of hours, if she likes you after the first date, she’ll be back for more.
If you really like her and aren’t just after the obvious, then I would advise staying away from any situation where you have to dance. Drinking is fine, but go careful. A beer or 2 is fine, just not to a point where you start telling her your undying love and start groping her.
I guess the next thing is not to be too needy or come on to strong – Again unless you’re just after it for the obvious then rock on…….. (just been slapped over the head by the missus)
If you want to chat about things in private then feel free to PM me.
Enjoy!

was the euroatlantic operating under monarch for stranded passengers from XL???
It certainly was. It departed out empty (obviously) although I am not sure where to. There were also a couple of empty Ryanair’s departing out, one to Palma to pick up some more stranded passengers.
Thanks for the kind comments.
Adam
(plus a £8.00 booking fee )
Not for all of us 😉 (Although it won’t last)
Ryanair are frequently doing £1 flight’s. Infact they were doing this just a few weeks ago. Even when they increase their costs and do £5/£10 flights, some of us would argue that it is still a very good deal.
Enjoy your bargain.
earlier in the day I’ve just forked out £120 for a new tyre – Not to mention a service is due!
The joys of owning a car…..
I’ve also had a parking ticket so I can understand your frustration, but at the end of the day you must have been illegally parked in the first place in order to get a ticket – one of those things I am afraid.

Adam …. yes the fence was aimed at you but only for abit of fun ,,,, i understand what you are saying and im trying to be more considerate to feedback …i apologise for jumping down your throat and will learn to control myself more often 🙂 … maybe a fresh start is in order = and thanks for the pat on the back 🙂
as for hms cc youve lost me!!!
Rob I appreciate your apology! Let’s sweep this matter under the carpet, and you can continue to concentrate on improving your images.
HMS CC – Well Paul came down to visit me down in Plymouth and so rather than spending our time drinking and generally causing mischief, we decided to go around renaming frigates.
and dont worry no fences added today.
I don’t know whether that comment was aimed at me or not, but regardless it appears that you have taken on some advice and that is evident in this post. You have produced some of your best images so far so have a pat on the back.
i personally felt alittle suprised at adams post as i felt it was a little to harsh
I don’t think it was harsh – I was being perfectly honest and it was put across in a very tactful way.
You misread the point I was trying to put across – You believed that I was implying you were not a ‘considerate’ person. Instead I meant that you should ‘consider’ the advice given to you. If you read over the previous post you will see where the break down in communicate was.
Anyways moving swiftly on…..
A nice improvement Rob.
Manchester, sun, am I missing something?
As everyone else has already said these are brilliant shots! Top quality!
I completely, 100% disagree. Jet2 as an airline do very little to impress me as a passenger. To call them low cost is laughable; they simply arn’t for the most part. Their aircraft are old and have seen far better days and I find many of the cabin crew have a patronising falseness about them which I frankly find extremely annoying. I used to like Jet2 4 years ago, but they’ve just gone massively downhill for me and are leagues behind the likes of Easyjet. In all truth, I much prefer flying Ryanair.
As for Jet2 having a good customer base, for the most part people use a service because it’s the most convenient way of getting from A to B. Jet2 don’t have any kind of loyalty scheme to reward their passengers, so why should people be loyal to them? If FR started a service to AMS I would very happily fly with them instead of LS. Ryanair’s aircraft are newer, more comfortable, and I generally prefer the cabin crew on Ryanair, despite the broken English.
Jet2 need a really good kick up the backside to bring them in line with other ‘low cost’ carriers, and I think Ryanair opening a base at LBA would do exactly that. They’ve been able to do what they like at LBA for far too long, and I think the passengers have suffered for that by paying far more than they would have to if LS weren’t the sole operators of many routes from LBA.
I sincerely hope Ryanair are successful in opening a base at LBA. Not only because it will give Jet2 something to think about, but also because another 100,000 passengers through my home airport can only be a good thing.
Paul
Yeah that maybe so Paul but…………….
Don’t you love cheeseburgers????
