to say im not being considerate is being alittle harsh

    i think i am considerate

It isn’t necessairly a case of not being ‘considerate’. It’s actually now more that you’ve asked me for advice in the past and I’ve been kind enough to give it. Now I give you a little constructive critcism and you jump down my throat, which I feel isn’t really fair.

You can’t ask people for advice and then ignore them when they say something you don’t really want to hear. The process of learning extends both ways: praise and criticism. Of course you are going to learn at your own pace and in your own time, but when you go to people and seek advice and they are kind enough to give it you really need to listen to them regardless of whether they praise or criticise. Learning how to do things how not to do things are both as valuable as each other.

Sorry but I am going to have to be honest with you but once again these shots could be improved by taking on some advice people have given you.

As said before you need to get yourself above the fence line at Bristol. There are some well composed shots here but there are also some that could be massively improved by consideration and application of previous advice given.

Thank you for sharing, but there are steps that you can take to improve your work dramtically, and they don’t take alot of effort.

(If you listen to a scanner at LHR, you can here all the airbus A/P’s been disconnected when the aircraft is cleared to land.

When I flew into AMS some months ago, I sat at the front of our A319! You could quite clearly hear the A/P disengage even in the cabin. It was even more interesting as we weren’t that high above the ground! 🙂

Note to Northern_Git – Apparently T7 pilot Irish Dave flies the whole journey with the autopilot disengaged.

Yeah just book it through easyJet – The price they quote is usually the same as the airport. I think it will just be a case of taking the credit card used to book it with to the airport. The credit card is used to indentify your booking when you park you car.

    Enjoy your trip

You can book car parking through loads of different companies (easyjet being one of them) but at the end of the day they are all for the same car park at the airport.
I’ve parked my car many times at Bristol airport, and when doing so I usually just go straight to their home page in order to book it.

They should have to make there own way back at there expence then get the full book thrown at them when they return to the UK.

I was under the impression that it was at their expence. The passenger/s would disembark the aircraft and the local police would deal with the matter. The passenger/s when released would then have to make their own arrangements for returning to the UK or home country.

Don’t get me wrong I am not trying to start a war but…..

how far away you actually are from the destination you payed FR to take you to.

I don’t know how many airports there are in Dublin, but I am pretty sure that Ryanair fly into the most central one. 😉
Same could be said with Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Liverpool to name just a few. They also serve other destinations such as Faro, Palma, Alicante, Madrid & Porto.

Now I do appreciate that they also fly to some alternative airports, (as you mentioned Girona & Hahn to name a couple) and that the quality of their marketing tactics are questionable, but just out of interest, how far outside of London is Luton 😉

Does anyone think Ryanair would be a threat to Jet2 ?

Not necessarily! For example, Ryanair have 2 based aircraft at BRS and do not pose a threat to easyJet which are the main established airline at Bristol.

I would rarther fly on something old, knowing it has been maintained well, than fly on something that does, 14 hours in the air if not more, has a cheap and tacky cabin (more like a bus).

Are you actually suggesting that Ryanair aircraft are poorly maintained? Do they not meet your standard of airworthiness? Get Real!

RyanAir has been known in the past for it’s bullyboy tactics.

They are a business with objectives and goals! Why shouldn’t they be like that????

But any fuel surcharges / airport tax etc. ? I think that’s what people are getting at. There’s a great tendency for airlines to split ‘everything’ off the main package now days to hide the true cost of a flight.

As many others will agree 1p flights HAVE been available!
The only charge that could be regarded as compulsorily on top of this is the debit card charge.
Check In, Bags, Priority boarding are all optional.

I haven’t flown with all the LCC around, but from what I have heard it really is a shame that some of these LCC can’t follow in the footsteps of easyJet – As PMN will agree with me!

    Ooops – what have I just started……..

They are all very good Matt, but personally I would rather see the pictures posted on the forum rather than being linked through to another website.

    Personal preference of course!
