Thank you guys for all the kind comments.
Ryanair have put on extra flights this weekend between Shannon & Bristol to bring the Munster supporters over to the west country for the Heineken Quarter Final – No doubt you can guess where I am flying out to this morning for the weekend, and for how much?! 😎

Thank you once again for the kind comments guys.

Sorry to hear about you misfortune Dan 🙁
Regarding one of your questions – Protection of some sort MIGHT depend on whether the airlines mentioned are ATOL protected and if the travel agency (you booked your ticket through) are ABTA protected. Then again I don’t know if you are covered in these circumstances – Something that you will need to look into.
I dont work in the industry and so perhaps someone else with greater knowledge could expand or correct me.
Here are the two required links for the time being….

Worth checking Flightstats.com the day before if you intend making the trip down there to see if it’s operating.

    Not a chance 😀
But many thanks for the information – Great shot once again

    Great shot, well captured.
Do CargoLux operate in and out of Manston frequently?

It is a shame there was nothing similar onboard my flight yesterday.

    Not bad Nagy, not bad!
If we’d seen abit more of the flaps on that B772 it would have certainly given it away over a B737! The flaps on those planes are amazing.
Great to see your work back on here.

Just heard on the radio a reporter say he traveled on a flight to Paris from Terminal 5 to be told by the Captain over the PA on arrival in Paris that none of the passengers on boards bags had traveled with them! Nightmare:eek:

That was the first flight of the morning, wasn’t it?
Weren’t a few fellow members onboard that flight?
    Oh dear……
