I suspect he will take full advantage of the publicity and I am sure his PR team have already developed some great slogan for the press

Exactly what i was thinking: I look forward to seeing what Ryanair have up their sleeves to make EI look stupid.

You’d have to explain the reason to me too, I live in Plymouth and I can honestly say there was nothing of any significance happening, aviation wise, (or anything else for that matter) last weekend!

But next weekend there’s a military vehicle exhibition over at Mount Edgecombe Park.

I wasn’t in Plymouth for any aviation reasons, just personal (Paul already knew this)

I spent the best park of last Saturday at Mount Edgecumbe running around the place avoiding the showers – Perhaps with the military vehicle exhibition i might venture back.

I didn’t follow him around, Dougal, he followed us! Remember at MAN when we tried to lose him at the AVP and he just turned up again half an hour later? He’s harmless enough though so we tolerated him

He looks like he should have an ASBO?! I’l have a word with the local Police & see if we can get a restraining order put on him.

Well what do I say mate?! Absolutely amazing. Why the hell did i spend my weekend in Plymouth?!

I love them all, although can I bring to your attention one picture in particular:

    Northern_Git and a Dakota!

Was this individual following you around for the day? Coz I swear I’ve been to Manchester & he lurks in the background everywhere I go! Should I be worried?

What would be harm with JET2 trying the MD11 I believe there is plenty on market.

And what evidence do you have to support the above comment! Do you work for JET2? Do you know something that the rest of us don’t?

This thread was initiated based on speculation of JET2 obtaining 767’s!!! So why are individuals continuing to speculate on whether JET2 are going to obtain B787’s (oh please), A330’s & MD11’s!

I’m surprised no one has suggested JET2 purchasing or leasing the A380

What struck me initially was how in a rush the pilot was to ‘plant’ the plane on the runway – Then again when you look at the length you can understand why.
I am sure that arrivals & departures from that airport are payload restricted! Can anyone confirm this?

Great skill needed & a great job done by the pilot!
