Big issue in Oz airshows is distance. This equals $$$$. Either the show pays or the owner pays. To run my Avenger today, all inclusive, it is around AU$2,500 per flight hour. The bills are big; insurance/fuel/oil/landing fees/hangarage/maintenance -scheduled/unscheduled plus bribing the wife….
To go from Brisbane [my home base] to say Temora is around 530 nautical miles each way :rolleyes: or about 6.5 hours of flying plus overnight costs..
That’s the problem if you put this on a grand scale here.
