Glad you enjoyed it. We are taking the TBM to NAS Nowra this week. It will be the first time one has been there for nearly 60 years. There is an air show in mid-May there too. [the silver aircraft in the last photo is a Wirraway from Caboolture, Qld…]

A guy who lived here in Australia was a night fighter “ace” in the Pacific flying Avengers. An amazing aircraft.

Saw it fly at the Avalon Air Show this past week. Low cloud and an exceptional low level noisy display. Only the Pig [F-111] looked better! [not to mention my Avenger]

There is a complete Lincoln nose as removed at the Camden Aviation Museum near Sydney. Maybe this will help the “new” Australian Lincoln!

It’s in the Flying Fighters Collection here in Brisbane based at Archerfield Airport. Will be flying today at the museum open day. Also appearing at Avalon Air Show next week with my Avenger….. :rolleyes:
