Here’s another view of it more side on and taken today. It gives more of a clear view of the angle of the lever. 🙂

Maybe you should be making a trip to Israel for that scheme…

I was of the impression it was to be finished in a gloss polyurethane brown/ green cammo with duck egg blue undersides (or was it light aircraft grey?) and post war Bright Blue/Bright Red 3 colour roundels as operated in service at RAF Binbrook with the Central Fighter Establishment. Now try saying that ISN’T an authentic livery for this machine in service…

Actually both companies are working on it, why do you so adamantly state “It’s either one or the other”? You seem to presume a lot, for someone not actually in the building…

Er… BWB have you made sure that 8674planes can make it to DX that day? It would be most ungentlemanly of you to arrange such an event without his express say so and if DCW isn’t available please book Pen Pusher or Bomberflight so that 8674planes can “virtually” see the event for himself…

    FFS indeed:mad:

That was the last flight for the Buchon for this year. She’ll now be tucked up in the warm for the winter. The Howard 500 has always been an elusive aircraft and for many years lived at Exeter and never ventured out. Nice to see it at DX after all these years. Would make a cracking “Executive-Duo” with the tri-gear Beech 18 from North Weald:)

“HFL/ARCo have Spitfires and Seafires”… you don’t say? I was there all day and didn’t notice. All that took my eye was the glamourous new tug:D

    Formation tugging at Legends? 😀

(on a slightly more serious note, what make and type are these tugs?)

They were made by Lansing Bagnall. Some years ago one of our late engineers somehow came across their factory museum and found they had a pristine “Terence” on display and another hulk that they had used for spares. Up until 2 weeks ago we had never encountered another of the breed and then “Theresa” was spotted for sale on evilbay by one of the HFL guys. We’re looking forward to her getting her kit off to see what’s under those ragged clothes she’s wearing…;)

I guess whatever female name we choose to give her, she will sound like some shady lady of ill repute hanging around looking for business…

    “Ow much darlin…?” 😀
