It’s strange a man of such fame and fortune would be so intimidated by his wife. I suppose we must all have our own little insecurities.

    2) I know that as well as Marines, Airborne battalions consist of ~3 Comp., and Americans sighned them in alphabet system.
Is that true that Easy and Fox companies = “E” and “F”? (this question appear, because NATO codename E is “Echo”)

The phonetic system changed several times. It’s really not clear when changes were made because some organizations changed years ahead of others, causing much confusion.

Not to mention active countermeasures will get increasingly sophisticated. In ten years it’ll be down to 1 hit per 3 missiles fired again.

I sure hope no one is doing the fool thing of canning the gun.

Never live off your creditcards, only use them to buy things that make money, or save you money in the long run.

Stop buying presents. Christmas isn’t about resenting people for having to give them what you can’t afford. Give your daughter something of yours and take her out sightseeing. Level with the wife, you can’t do this without her on the same page.

Uh, that was the MONGOL invasion of Japan.

By that logic Chinese also razed Baghdad, trampled the Poles, and beseiged Vienna. I’m sure there were a few Chinese engineers, laborers, blacksmiths present during those occasions.

No one saw Battlefield Earth? How can any movie be worse than that? You’ll love how cavemen learn to fly the Harrier and work a hydrogen bomb after excavating them in the year 3000.

    San Diego

    Pros:

    1. Climate like the French Rivera

    2. Beautiful city, Balboa Park, Zoo, Sea World, Wild Animal Park

    3. L.A., Los Vegas, Mexico within driving distance, Avalon within sailing distance.

    4. High concentration of young people

    5. The Pacific Fleet

    Cons:

    1. Used to be home to Top Gun. No longer fightertown, USA.

    2. Food is Mexican and seafood, could use more ethnic diversity.

    3. Crazy religious stations all over the radio.

Sure, when a Democrat presides over economic boom you say government has nothing to do with it. Yet when good economies happen when a Republican is in office, it’s because of good policies right? Name one single good thing Bush Jr did for the economy.

Bill Clinton did a lot of good things for the economy. Chiefly he balanced the budget and cut government spending way down. I worked for government programs at the time and remember many programs getting cut 90% or terminated all together. Clinton turned his party into a fiscal responsibility watchdog and fundamentally changed American politics.

Some of you may not remember but that was the cornerstone of the old GOP. The new Republican party is more big-government, military adventurist than its ever been. Little wonder some old timers defected.

The other thing Clinton did for the economy, he prevented the global economic meltdown of the 90’s from reaching American shores. Clinton’s team did a great job insulating US from the Asian crisis, was smart not to involve itself when Russia defaulted, and even smarter when it did bail out Mexico. Had Clinton taken the wrong course of action the US economy would have taken some serious hurt. For this the average citizen went largely unoticed.

The Repulicans would have you believe Clinton was the worest president ever because he lied about a *******. Gingrich won the Congress alright, he abused legislative authority and damaged the consitutional balance of the three branches to do it. Schwartzenegger was right about one thing, the Clinton impeachment was a Republican disgrace.
