I don’t think anyone will be setting foot in Iran – only way i see that happening is small counter offensives if Iranian troops were to push into the Iraqi borders and needed to be pushed back again – if thats possible with limited numbers of US troops in Iraq. I think we’d be looking at more the Afghan approach in that using small teams to spot the eneamy whilst then calling in over whelming fire support from the air. Unless US pulls its forces from SK and Germany which isnt gonna happen i dont think then there would not be enough troops to fight a conventional war into Iran taking and holding its cities whilst removing its goverment as what happened in Iraq. Some how i do not see any ‘thunder run’ into Tehran anytime soon. Maybe 10 years when the Iraqi army can hold its own therefore freeing up US forces but not before then. lol that last line above ‘retarded religous fanatic’ – brilliantly said, couldnt describe him better myself.

well comunism can hardly be a success can it? I didnt see alot of Russians bothered about it and marching in the street for the return of communism when it all borked up for them. Communism just isnt very popular with the people who live under it it would appear – maybe im tottally ignorant of the millions living in bliss under a red goverment. i think its blatently obvious my friend that Iran does not value its mens lives that alot of other countries – i only have to point in the direction of the mass ‘human wave’ assaults on Iraqi positions during the Iran Iraq war and the recent bluster about they have over 10000 suicide volenteers ready to defend thier nuclear ‘power’ research stations. Don’t believe me on that then look it up . They boosted about it enough times over the last year.

I personally think truck bomb or delivered in a shipping container in one of Israels ports. How would you guys do it – i wouldnt use missles with nukes because i think the Israelis Arrow system would knock them out the sky first, would you run the risk of losing all your missiles in the first strike? superb post there friend, I agree 2800 odd dead for taking a country and removing its goverment historically unmatched by anyone anywhere, and it only took 3 odd weeks to accomplish too which was extraordianry by any standards of warfare. Most people have this media created imaage of western troops bogged down in a ‘quagmire’ (there favourite word) when infact things couldnt be further from the truth. Whilst main stream media plays is quagmire record over and over the enemy are weakened to the point that all they can do is try and impress fear onto the population in a vain hope that will win back there power and now they have realised that they are trying to create a civil war. totally agree there with that last comment but people have such a hatred for America there minds just leap to stupid thoughts and resoning. i get the feeling they do have superpower backers, China and Russia, also what other allies do the Iranians have that may contibute in one way or another, Old Hugo Chavez down in Venezuela, the Norks maybe? i’m sure its allies will offer support in one way or another , covertly would be wise but i wouldnt mind betting that after a year or so of war (if it lasted that long) Iran would somehow get hold of more weaponry and equipment with which to play on with. Hope the Russians are getting money up front for the stuff they sell them cos something tells me if they enter a war they arn’t going to be able to come up with the pennies they owe.
