BAA can keep folk away from restricted areas, currently these are accessible service roads to EDI facilities, I doubt they could influence access to other areas more than 3 metres from the airport perimeter fence

come to think of it.

During Mine and Joe’s tour of the EDI facilities, it was noted that BAA are more or less getting forced to buy the land around EDI.

Not sure if that included the Market grounds or not.

Your observations are correct..Look out for a a BAA statement this month on EDI intentions. 😀

The Solarium at TFS being equally excellent, pity it’s airside
and folk cannot get onto it until they are checked-in.
