A prelude to expansion for EDI?

Yes the market is closing due airport expansion,

The present terminal being extended into the current
market ‘space’.

And we still have the new south east terminal imminent!

Christ, that new Control tower is quite big isnt it 😉

Should be ready and operational one month ahead of schedule – September this year.

Superb shots – Is this the tour that Joe went on the other week ?

No, my tour was a personal invitation from BAA and involved
inside the perimeter fence/ramp and restricted areas. 😀

I think he’s in Germany, Joe. 😀

The weather front is moving that way! Inbound from Stansted! It closed that airport for a few hours this
morning. 🙁

Nice pics. I want to go spotting again, but the weather is against me. More snow this weekend.

Where are you Seahawk,? the forecast for Scotland is clear,
except for that blasted Northerly airstream. 😡

Excellent picces Joe. Love the DLH A320! The COA B752 is excellent also…keep them coming, always like to see pics from the EDI. I need to do some spotting at EDI, anyone? or Sunday?

Saturday morning between 9am 12 noon isn’t too bad, Sunday is basically the same, albeit 10am 12 noon.

Save it for next Sunday when the Welsh rugby fans head for home.? http://www.egph.co.uk (Rugby charters)

I found a way around our present rectriction, prefferrin g to present the pics here first hand. 😀
