Thanks.. the aircraft might have been positioning, it certainly wasn’t operating a service flight, unless the schedule has been changed.

Time for Jet2 to name an aircraft with an Edinburgh theme? “Edinburgh Castle” perhaps?

Joe, from what I can gather, G-CELA has replaced G-CELZ as the based Jet2 aircraft at EDI, as it is also a ‘QC’.
Very nice too BTW. 😉 I now much prefer Jet2’s updated tail design to the previous one, too much silver on the last design, but the red now breaks it up nicely. 🙂

Edinburgh Tower were under the impression the aircraft was
doing CAT III tests, the skipper confirmed but had a change of plans for some reason.

I’m hoping Jet2 will ‘paint’ an aircraft “Jet2 Edinburgh”
in the fashion of it’s Manchester example. :p

I agree with you about the photo system – I liked it more when you didnt have to open each picture individually (Yes I am that lazy!), but I dont mind the new system at all, better for people on dial up and a topic that has a few pages and your only waiting for the last photo to load, you dont have to wait as long for all of them to load anymore.
