Excellent pics, don’t often see LH A320s at EDI over the winter!
Also, CO have reverted back to a daily service from today.

Yes indeed! I have it somewhere in today’s pics, not processed yet. 🙁

The LH A320 subbing for the usual LH RJ85/CRJ I take it?

Forgot to say, nice pics as always, keep em coming 🙂

I was surprised to see an A320 so early in the season..it was back to to an RJ85 today.

Glad the pics are appreciated, I prefer the old system on this forum that did them more justice. 🙂

Wow, surprising to read this. I felt the absolute opposite after my trip last May. BA was an absolute joke in my opinion. The cabin crew just didn’t seem to care, and service was very laid back. Qantas on the other hand was fantastic, lovely food, friendly and professional cabin crew, and an all round excellent service. Would certainly choose to fly them again if I was given the chance.

I flew on from SIN with Australian, what a difference considering both airlines are in the same stable.

Could it be that QF cc consider themselves Prima Donna
and the minions on AO try harder.?

Both experiences were akin to chalk and cheese – AO
served the cheese and QF the chalk.. IMHO 🙁

East Fortune used to have a discussion board, but Grant axed it a couple of years back due to some very acrimonious posts, by a few regular offenders.

Sounds about right for Scottish aviation forums these
    days… 😡

I’ll start at East Fortune on Monday 10th (see my other post about me being the new Assistant Curator)

Good luck with this RA! Any chance of a Shorts Belfast
    going on display.?

I took this shot of the last flying version in Cairns, Australia.

Qantas, however, left a great deal to be desired. The service was patchy and the cabin staff seemed disorganized and to my mind too laid back. The food, when we finaly got it, was terrible. The seating was pitched much closer than the BA flight and was very uncomfortable indeed. .

I’ll concur with this foxmouth..I’ll never willingly fly
    Qantas ever again. 😡

MON only for summer. Not sure about bmi, they have had quite an extensive range of flights in past winters, not sure about this winter yet, but I’m not sure if there were enoguh to justify a based aircraft.

bmi do charters for Direct Holidays and Mytravel, other
tour operators have allocations. Not enough flights? It’s not
a pax problem at EDI, they can’t get enough! 😀

Er… I thought EDI already had a future plan? new taxiways, a new tower, a second runway etc?

A new runway? 30 years hence? Take your granchildren
along to the opening Allen? 😀

    Silver Snapper,

did Channel Express or one of the other Cargo operators not operate a Tu204 out of EDI for a while?

Yes..they have more towbars at EDI than you can shake
    a stick at! 😀
