Nice pics, and they look recent too.
Yesterday Stuart… The tower construction beginning to dominate, look at BAA’s long stay car park..almost full!
I don’t think so, High speed turn offs tend to be at about 30, to 45 degree in angle in relation to the runway so that the pilots need only a little steering input.
These exits are at 90 degrees with a little run off area each side, no doubt to facilitate larger aircraft.
Hey joe… up for a little spotting today?
Another BAA promise bites the dust! Read this late Sandy.
child-minding today for my son… 😮

is it now open for business?
November apparently.. Looking at the turn-offs they hardly
appear to be the high speed exits as promised.?

Good pictures
and it did look like a nice day for taking pictures…….
The wind was calm and the back-trackers were closer
for a change. 😉

Excellent pics, they also emphasise just how nice and sunny the weather was today. 🙂 Why the semi-regular equipment changes by SAS? Yesterday I see a Star Alliance B738 visited, today an MD, are the loads such that it requires the upgrade occasionally?
I could never fathom the equipment changes..they surely must be connected to loads…

The former Heavylift Belfast that left PIK a year or so ago has returned and is apparently now the subject of an impounding by the CAA? Any Belfast fans who would like another look at this magnificent aircraft should get themselves along to Prestwick pronto.
Any details behind the impounding Allen?
