Excellent pics, I think it (A310) may have visited for the French Rugby international as well, but then it was plain white?
Correct! I saw a pic somewhere.. 😉
Lets hope that this will give the shot across the bow that Aerlingus need to get there act together regarding there medium – long haul product.
I’ll go along with that! 😮

Anyone have it’s ‘previous’? How long have Eagle Aviation been in business.?

And just think of all the interesting visitors to EDI if the jambos keep that 2-0 first leg advantage and qualify for the group stage of the UEFA Cup?
They will be dancing in the streets of Hearts! 😉

Not really, BA’s feeder service works very well into LHR and to a lesser extent LGW. Strong connections throughout the UK and Europe, and also with the Middle East. Emirates are just trying to tap into that market, that is also shared by KLM at AMS, AF at CDG, and LH at FRA.
No doubt but there is something very tempting about
flying 1 stop from Edinburgh to, say OZ, rather than the
competition’s 2 stops?

Emirates will be flying the Union Jack on their tails if they start anymore flights into the UK. I know some are connecting passengers, but the desert must be getting pretty full by now.
Makes sense when you consider the amount of pax using
BA’s LHR/LGW services for connections.
BA have been caught with their pants down? :diablo:

Indeed, though I thought to later delete that message at the risk of creating another GLA vs EDI war 🙂
