Looks like he’ll have a bit more breathing space on the way back, not as booked up as the outbound.
He may even get an upgrade! 😎
good photos. Bon voyage Sandy.
He flies back in 11 hours… 😎
I don’t think it would be a bad start for Sandy at all! You can just imagine him sitting at the terminal window drooling at the B757 parked outside lol
Let’s assume he arrived at EDI around 0730 and boarded
at 1030…..3 hours Airside! 😀 😀
lol, maybe not on the way there, sat in 31F on the way back, thats as close as i can get
Sandy returns tomorrow, I’ll try to get a pic of the aircraft arriving. 🙂
Yeah it’s a shame the night’s are drawing again after such a dismal summer for snapping. I had to scrap my plan to shoot a take off and landing’s video around Scottish Airports as there just weren’t enough good days up here.
Tell me about it!
Thats a bloody BIG coincidance, thats the EXACT SAME aircraft i tavelled on from BHX in! 🙂 😀
Hope you kept the seat warm for Sandy! 🙂
So he was either fast asleep or in one of the rear lavatories dispensing of IPA ?
I doubt he would miss the views of EDI’s new full length taxiways nearing completion. 😀
Joe – You post great photos, but you shouldnt keep creating trouble for yourself. All GLAsgow was on about was Globespan expansion at GLA, the same as me talking about Jet2 at LBA. Whats wrong with that?
I won’t bore you with EDI/GLA politics Tom… 😮
31A is the fourth row from the back.

so, er, I’d suggest that Sandy’s waving is obscured by the wing.
Perhaps more by 4 hours in Weatherspoons? 😀 😀
You can just see him waving at Joe. 😀
5th. window back on the back-track…
He said he was seated in 31A going and 30A coming back I think it was.
Biz class, as usual, was 100% full on his flight.
Nice pics, but you could just see a break in the super weather coming, couldn’t you? 😉
Sandy can pinpoint the windows when he gets back!
Break in the weather? The sun has just come through in Livingston.. 1402 hrs… :dev2:
Er…. why Joe ? it hasn’t degenerated into a “V” argument. And I’ll delete it as soon as it does rest assured.
Perhaps folk don’t want to get involved in the idiot’s baiting?
One now imagines it’s OK to ‘bait’ but not retaliate.?
A victory for GLAsgow and a snub for those who find his contributions provocative.?
They seem to be getting bigger and bigger every day.
Interesting callsign too… I can never quite make it out.
Is it Casher..Catcher..or Cashair? 😮
Excellent shots!
Thanks Matthew. 😮
Well, Jet2.com now have 8 based a/c at LBA (G-CELE arriving recently) and all these aircraft (With the exception of one – Jet2 always keep one spare), are utilised for the most of every day. G-CELZ hasnt actually operated a Jet2 flight yet, so I dont really think that is the case.
Have you seen Channex Flyglobespan aircraft at LBA Tom.?
