Joe,hate to upset everybody else,but you’re in a class of your own when it comes to pics! (And I don’t mean LOWER!)

Thanks OSH but I like to think my pics will stimulate interest
from the rest of this forum. I have noticed the overall quality
improve over the past year. There are some excellent photographers who don’t post as often as they should..
Renfrew being one of them. The others will ‘come out’ as the
weather improves. 😀

Hope you avoided any possible mauling from the resident dogs that seem to appear there from time-to-time, presumably from the cottages. 😀

They are indeed from the cottages but they totally ignore me in the car, Perhaps that’s the answer?

I was in the field sitting opposite 06 lighting array, there is something really unusual going on there. Off-hand it looks like they are moving the array a tad westwards. A future
runway extension perhaps.? A starter-strip even?

Nice find, will be interesting to see what happens in the future! I’m sure it would be beneficial to EDI to have FR set up a base, you just have to look at what FR have done to the passenger numbers at STN, PIK and LTN etc. LTN inparticular looks like it could overtake EDI, GLA and BHX within the next year or two at current growth rates.

Agreed! FR recently made ‘overtures’ re EDI stating they could put on an extra 2M pax per year there. I wonder if
BAA standardised their STN charges @ EDI, FR would
take the bait.? Having said that aren’t FR disputing their STN charges.?

I don’t think there are landing charges as such,just passenger charges,parking, jetways etc

According to BAA@EDI jetways/airbridges are not charge for..
all part of the overall charges.
