The Sunnis were united in their hate for Shia and Kurds, and the Kurds hated Sunnis and Shia, and the Shia hated Sunnis and Kurds- would be more accurate statement.

I didn’t think religious types were so aggressive though, i thought peace was more thier style and i thought saddam was secular in the way he ran his great democracy.

I’d expect Kurdish militants that fought against the regime of Baath party…(?)

Why on earth would they be fighting thier leader though?

Here’s a reality check for those who think that we’re not taking our job seriously.

As unfortunate to say this as it is but perhaps your people, more specificlly the ISI will now start to take this more seriously seeing as what happened in Islamabad at the Marriot hotel. Some old wise saying springs to mind i think it goes “you reap what you sow”

I wish your people all the luck in the world in the fight agaisnt Islamic terrorism.

Perhaps ask the wise people on ‘4chan’ as i can think of no other internet site as usefull for these sort of questions – just make sure to ask in the ‘random’ section 😉

23 When Kirk was captured by the Romulans, he escaped AND stole their cloaking device to boot! . Picard had to
be rescued. Besides, Kirk wouldn’t have fallen for the Romulan’s trick and been captured
in the first place–he would have sent in a red shirt

Dear Martinez, the blackbird was a pure recce aircraft with no real need for visability, however the foxbat was designed to shoot down other aircraft and while radar was the primary sensor for accomplishing this the pilot would more then likely still look out the canopy to scan the skies. In short the foxbat pilot needs more visability then a blackbird pilot.

after the town down in hands of insurgents

Hi MM2000, can you elaborate on the insurgents bit? Who where these insurgents and what was there goals? Sorry to distract from the actual theme of the thread but it would be nice to know the details a bit clearer of why this was happening.

Don’t know where you’ve been lately but there are 20+ interceptors in Alaska right now.

Not to mention the navy ships configured or able to work for BMD now in the form of three tico’s but 15 also destroyers should have the capability by 2009.

Su-35 has the best TWR of any fighter in modern fighter in the world.

Have you got the figures to bolster your claim? Or just another RuAF Commanders ‘word’?
