I understand cloud_9, I am just always amazed at peoples’ reactions to LCCs.
I think it is innovative of Ryanair to try and save money by trying to reduce the number of check-in desks they need.
Perfectly legitimate thing for Ryanair to do.
Why should I pay for your checked luggage? if I travel without
nobody forces you to buy priority boarding, and they allow you to eat your own food on board 😉
I have a slight issue with paying for check in though, because last time I used their online check in there was a problem with it so we had to check in at the airport.
in terms of sound pressure levels 😛
unweighted
Good question
Im guessing there is a huge exclusion zone around shuttle take offs, so if you got as close as you could it would be relatively quiet.
A B1 is probably similar to the concorde because it has 4 afterburning engines, i think it is at least twice as loud as a B52 on take off the last couple of times I have seen them.
Has to be : Rhino
thanks for the info & pics,
Looks cool!
Nice shots
Those Dornier 328s look super cool, although the props are even sexier 😀
I think it takes about 30 minutes from the train station, better check a map first though if you decide to walk, to make sure you know the way 😀
I sometimes walk from the terminals to the Aviation Viewing Park, and I think I pass the cargo/business terminals on the way (I reckon its about 1 miles walk)
If you want to walk;
From terminal two –
– Get to the ground floor and go outside
– Turn left from the main exit & walk past the car park, then turn left to get onto Melbourne Ave
– turn right onto Sydney Ave, then left onto the main road which curves round to the left.
-Continue to walk along this road and you’ll eventually come to the road which leads to the business aviation place (and I guess the cargo place too).
ps. good luck with the interview 😀
christ those are beautiful
really different from what you usually see… anywhere!
woah i had no idea Austrian went to Katmandu?!

What will thier long haul fleet consist of ? 777-200s?
I was there on saturday
It was surely the best display I’ve ever seen, I wont be forgetting that in a hurry.
Its so beautiful the way it seems to go through most of its display slowly, at a leisurely pace but suddenly flips into action with the most insane cobra or somersault. Very beautiful display and aircraft. well done MiG ! 😀
James bond ?
are you seriously saying a thrust vectoring mig 29 isn’t interesting enough ?
This claim reminds me of the Iraqi Information Minister
Anyone remember him?
