There is never a one solution fits all, I vote for informed choice.
Currently on the ITV drama series Emmerdale a character who is wheelchair paralysed is heading towards his death aided by his mother and best friend. In this fictional scenario very little advice has been asked for or given. Only later will the options become clear. Fiction being used to highlight the importance of informed consent. And also being used to highlight the head in the sand attitude of the current Uk legal situation where loving relatives and friends are put on trial afterwards.

Skeeter 7
Had Gipsy 215 hp engine. This was the most successful Skeeter. 64 were built and acquired by the British Army Air Corps.
I have tried for many years to see a UFO but because I have been very good at aircraft reccy I have so far failed and identify everything although I have seen several odd sights which could have been listed as a UFo by others.
Examples include aircraft mounted searchlights from 30 miles away, no noise and movement which did not seem to fit the usual way an aircraft moves. It was a Nimrod on exercise.
A group of Toy balloons reflecting light in the daytime and moving in 4 directions due to a turbulent airflow, they were launched from a nearby location and I was surprised at how oddly they moved.

Problem with pitot tubes reported and then auto pilot cut out.
Some slacker conditions due on Friday, we are off to do some local flying from Inverness.
Here is the official line..
Official Secrets Act
UK act of Parliament 1989, prohibiting the disclosure of confidential material from government sources by employees; it remains an absolute offence for a member or former member of the security and intelligence services (or those working closely with them) to disclose information about their work. There is no public-interest defence, and disclosure of information already in the public domain is still a crime. Journalists who repeat disclosures may also be prosecuted.
Posted to avoid tricky situations when the former or serving member decides to decline answering.
Oh sheesh , missed it because I thought it was that awful feature film of the same name. Heading for I player later in the week.
Are you saying Cliff Spink is rotund?

And I also reckon you should have a look at the maritime museum in Freemantle which is a neat place plus the town.
No surprise that you have no first hand accounts, the crews involved all signed the official secrets act document and jokes aside they would be in a lot of trouble if they spoke out.
The spyflights site gives the flavour of similiar ops and also highlights the dangers.
Ran fine up here in Scotland, I was also a bit frustrated at the hype and editing to make it look more dramatic. No mention on the approach to the potentially cloud shrouded destination that the crew had to fly with enough diversion fuel to fly to an alternate. The fact that Buffalo allow the cameras inside shows how confident they are regarding sticking to regulations.
Firebex , thanks for mentioning just how dedicated Tony Agar is.
As an aside did you meet Dave Pickles and his Jeep Land Rover recovery team in the days of Brian Rapiers high ground wreck salvaging ?
