We are all stuck with a system which is not perfect. It is tempting to think of direct action however that can backfire badly. Instead the only way forward is to gather evidence and help/involve the police. The majority of the police have also got the same feeling of frustration and also want to prosecute the people responsible.

Locally in North Scotland I have read of one travellers site which was closed, then demolished by the council. I have also seen on the goggle box footage of a well organised raid by police and other agencies on a site which resulted in court cases and disruption to criminals.

Just Jane NX611 sat in salty Blackpool air for a long time, corrosion happened when the flaps were left down exposed and nothing was done at all ,but she survived. So I think the Beverley will be ok until funds for a roof are found.After all there are custodians actually interested in working on the Beverley.

To be fair to the gliding club, it was an very heavy prolonged weight of snow and over 600 farm buildings, many modern, collapsed in this area of North East Scotland.

Fascinating account. I recall reading of a mutiny of the Royal Navy that took place at Invergordon and that only finished due to the visit of an unidentified member of the Royal Family .

It was a very silly episode however the kids liked it.I am not saying the Spitfire cockpit looked silly Stuart…although the disco lights were a bit odd!

For real drama I watched ep2 of Foyles War on Sunday evening.
