Many sellers on ebay will send you the reserve price via email if you ask. Often a reserve is set just to save on higher listing fees.

By contrast in the UK the plan for post German invasion secret bunkers did not include any aircraft. No doubt these would have drawn attention to the underground locations. Look for a book called ..The last Ditch.. which has details. No vehicles either. But very clever observation posts including one with an entrance concealed under a horse trough and viewing slits via rabbit holes overlooking a road junction below the downs.

I have learned today that Siskin numbers are up in my area, North Scotland.

Also the 11 Cranes are still around the old airfield of Milltown near Lossiemouth, I believe these have also travelled from Scandanavia, they havebeen feeding in the area for the last 4 weeks.

You must have the wrong magazines, I find Dredging News quite good and have to admit I miss Dressing for Pleasure although some issues of Rubber Discpline have rather interesting stories. For a really varied read Fortean Times is the best.

This strange attitude to gaining so called freedom by having illegal protests is a big con.In many countries which have gained democratic freedoms since ww2 the actual conditions for the majority of people have got worse.

The minority stir up trouble and wreck the lives of the majority who are managing to make the best of living in a poor country. It takes time to improve the conditions in countries with mostly rural populations. Sadly there are those who are impatient and they believe that the grass is always greener in a democracy.

Civil unrest is a huge destructive force when unleashed and the innocent suffer greatly and the rule of law replaced with anarchy. Peaceful progress takes time but has far less bloodshed.

I think what really justifies underwater recovery operations is the rarity of the aircraft. For example the Halifax in Norway . If it very similiar to existing on land projects I really do not believe the funding will be available.
