Overall , a well done to all involved, I only have one complaint…
In a programme of 90 minutes it would have taken just 2 minutes to add a mention of the other major allied bomber types involved and the numbers, then return to the story with a comment that the Lancaster is mostly featured due to it being the one available for filming.

Set aside that we are keen aviation enthusiasts, look at the main point of all the films about the Red Tails unit. The point being that discrimination was unjust and based on the twisting of science regarding human potential.

I continue to be shocked when the extent of support for official segregation is revealed by interviews and film reconstructions.

Sadly a lot of predjudice comes from a desire by the media, advertisers and politicians to get humanity sorted into neat boxes. And then stereotypes are applied.

Take a message from this series of films about the Red Tails and think for yourself rather than swallow the official line.

I really think the carrot of independance is being dangled in front of patriotic Scots without anyone having any firm idea about where following the carrot at all costs might lead. I see the SNP as a pied-piper leading the people toward a goal it doesn’t fully understand, and inviting trouble where there was none before.

I agree…. and the trouble has already started due to misleading teaching of historical fact in schools at primary level. For example the Culloden Battle, is sadly taught as a Scots V English fight when this is far from the truth.This resulted in playground fighting between local kids and those they knew were from England. Braveheart the film twisted many facts to allow a simplistic screenplay.

Without the removal of emotive propaganda I suspect the vote will not be based on practical plans.

Broidly agree Jay, but I want to see names of politicians on a document so they can be held to account,anything can be said in a newspaper article if their is no source quoted. I want real solid plans not made up nonsense just to win a Yes vote.

It will be interesting to see the real plans in detail from the SNP BEFORE the vote.

Very very few actors turn down any offers of work,as regards films many interviews and bios disclose that those taking part often have no idea if it will be a hit, miss or turkey. If it is a turkey then i hope they have the good humour of Sandra Bullock who turned up in person to accept a worst film of the year award in the USA.
