It’s just like cars these days. All converge on what’s the most efficient shape.

    I drive a Fiat Multipla… now there’s a funny ‘un… 🙂

as for aeroplanes, yup, the airbus/boeing shapes are just so unexhilarating to look at….possibly because I live under the flightpath for Liverpool JL, not that I’m biased or anything…;)

‘Twas a good show…as a family of 4, we only got there at about 10:30 (much later than I would have done in my sprogless days) and was actually not disappointed with where we got to park. I was at Fairford in ’97 as was previously mentioned… it took us 4 hours just to get off that field back then, so the 1.5 hours it took us at Cosford was pleasantly enlightening 🙂

I personally loved the Dak… and the pyrotechnics in the RAF role thingy was just great! (shut the kids up from whingeing a treat) :diablo:
Congrats to all the organisers, and all the poor sods who had to clean up afterwards. 😮

Also, what where the incoterms of your shipment? FOB, DDU?

DDP is the way to go in this instance….but if the place agreed to deliver it to your door, but then changed their minds without telling you, there must be some recourse you could take?

the vehicle appears to be german, it seems to have the ‘notek’ lights, but the markings evade me…
certainly Med / Italy though.. 🙂

    edit:
the circular emblem on the vehicle looks to be of VIII.Flieger Korps, my guess : Crete

Colin Macfie was mentioned (I think) in Flying Start by Hugh Dundas?

One that made a great impression on me was the final RAF Valley show in ’94…the 3-ship Czech Mi-24’s flew right over the crowdline at less than 100 feet, setting off many car alarms…

I’m sure they got a slap on the botty for that, they didn’t do that at the othr airshows I saw them at! :diablo:

Other than that, the massed approach at Middle Wallop… incredible! 😀
