I presume the Pakistani F-6 is firing a AIM9 Sidewinder.
It could be also a PL-5… ๐

Enjoy.
Right. The US has an aversion to foreign influence in its military kit
That’s why the US uses M-16s bought from Fabrique Nationale.
And sidearms from Beretta and SiG.
And lightweight 155mm howitzers from the UK.
And 5.56 ammo from Israel.
And T-45 trainers derived from BAE’s Hawk.
And 120mm tank guns from Germany.
And Chobham tank armor from the UK.
And wheeled APCs from Canada.
And why the US approved sale of Sanders (a major supplier of EW, SIGINT, datalink, Missile warning systems, automated test equipment) to BAE.
And approved sale of Allison (a major supplier of turboprop and turboshaft engines for US aircraft) to Rolls Royce.
Its also why the US spends $150B of its yearly defense budget to keep unnecessary bases open in *them* nations as a way to boost local economies.
…but don’t let facts get in the way of anti-American drivel you spew.
You forgot the Dolphin Eurocopter Choppers from France.
A century “fighter” the F-117 A:

The only one which is in service.
I was thinking of flight hours, i.e data stating the F-15 costs 3k per hour to fly vs the M2K being a thousand less (from some site I read somewhere)
Yes it’s right but the main problem is due to the cost of the MICA EM, realy expensive, 5X the AMRAAM.
But in term of general maintenance, the M-2000 is cheeper than F-16 (theM53-P2 engine need less support than P&W or GE engines series for the Falcon).
And please, buy MICA EM to reduce the cost of the missile ๐ …
7 rafale in one shot ๐
The second Rafale seems to have the 1/7 Squadron Marking. ๐
The 313 as been delivered because I’ve seen a picture with the 330-EJ immatriculation, the 312 must be fly.
Very Very nice shots !!
Thanks for pics, they are realy nice !
The Mirage 2000-C with RDM is designed for multirole mission, the Radar can work better in A2G modes than the RDI, the RDI is a sort of APG-63 with a bit reduced range. The R.530D Super can flight at Mach 4.5 (Max Speed) but due to a lack of range it can’t beat an F-16C, the 2000-C is better in dogfight because it can have 29ยฐAoA/+9G.
After, if you compare a 2000-5F with a F-16C Blk 40/50, the Dash-5 is better due to the Mica capability, the better radar range(140km for the RDY) and don’t forget that the 2000-5F is designed for the exclusive A-D role and the F-16 Blk 40/50 for both A-A and A-G (you will see a great part of U.S Blk 50-52 doing SEAD mission).
Twix, what would you do with so many Rafale Cs?
Oh and do you plan to move france to another continent with that huge transport fleet ๐
Nic
To have an independent Ripost force capability, and to place this aircraft, we can form wings outside of France in other countries. ๐
