In response to VeeOne’s last post, I see where you’re coming from and I was a little hesitant about posting this, questioning the whole “Do I? Don’t I?” thing.

But I do see where you’re coming from and yes – each to their own opinion of course, but I have a genuine question to ask and without meaning to sound pedantic about it.

Do you genuinely still feel like a “hater” to the fact that Olympic Games can inspire a person? Or is that something you think is good?

An amazing day overall, six gold medals and one silver.

I was so happy for Jess Ennis, especially after her injury taking her out of Beijing but now she’s got the medal she truly deserves.

Mo Farah, in my view, is an inspiration to the fact that he came to our country from Somalia and has gave back to the society something truly remarkable and magical. I’m thrilled for his triumph tonight and it was such a great sprint toward the finish line, amazing!

The long jump as well – brilliant performance!

Rowing – great way to end the final day of the regatta, seeing one of the athletes shouting ” WE JUST WON THE OLYMPICS! 😮 ” was such a special moment.

All in all, well done for such a Special, Super, Stupendous Saturday Team GB! 😀

Bradley Wiggins, what an amazing athlete 😀 I was so happy that he got the gold today in the time trials! Plus a Bronze went to GB in that event also.

I’m curious now to see what the outcome will be when Sir Chris Hoy and Victoria Pendleton {plus other GB athletes of course} start their campaigns inside the velodrome!

Plus a silver inside the pool tonight!

Having knowing a Olympian myself (in this case a paralympian) who is a friend of my cousin’s – all I can say is that I take my hat off to all Olympic and Paralympic competitors because they have to commit to so much to strive for their achievements.

I’ve seen some fantastic events and have loved every second of everything I’ve seen.

The opening ceremony was amazing.

The national anthem recordings by the LSO are beautiful
