What we basically do is meet the a/c on arrival, get the fuel figures of the Captain/FO, radio these back to base. Then we have to check what are called the loadplans and loadsheets, which print off once the a/c has landed. We have to ensure all the figures are correct, take these to the flight deck who then check it again and sign it. We then communicate with the cabin crew who give us the all clear for when they are ready for boarding, which we then communicate to the PSA’s. We then hang around make sure everyone is onboard, receive the ‘bingo cards’ from the loaders (Which basically shows which bags are on the flight, this again must be correct). We then have to communicate with the captain to give him the all clear, and then the a/c goes! There is much more to it, but that is a basic overview. Hope that helps!
