From a theological point of view.
The world was created for us to be the bearers of those who care for the creation of what was placed on this planet for us. Nothing in this planet is of belonging to us, it is all an illusion of our materialism which places us facing toward the side of bad and the side of misjudment of our persona. Everything is infact just here as a test to see if we are able to cope with the sins of being materialistic, greedy etc.
Everything we do on this planet comes from our consciencia. Philosophers say that there are three sides of our conscience which psychologists also agree with.
Psychologist, Sigmund Freud, called these the id, superego and the ego.
The main part of these being:
The id – contains inheritance from birth, so everything we see or experience first is originally unknown to ourselves.
The ego, drives us toward the correct thing that will be beneficial for a longer time. (The ego mostly ourselves)
The super-ego: The same basis of the ego but linked to the outer world.
But the super-ego is where humans develop guilt.
Due to the availablity of humans being able to experience guilt, this shows that our soul, is in theory, connected with our body and that we have a soul inside our body which is conscious of our decisions. If we decipher upon making a decision that will be hard to others, then our super-ego will make us feel the guilt and pain.
This is where philosophers think that we thus have a connection to God and that the all-mighty being himself is part of us all because if we feel guilt, he shall always be welcoming with open arms.
