Fresh audience for exploiting? I suspect there are enough who won’t be aware of TIGHAR’s reputation who will fall for this. Expect The Daily Fail to be at the forefront.
I see a J47 there too…
Restore one for static, retain the others as exchange material.
Ooh nice: worked on/flown in and had a go at flying most of those! Will have to dig out the photo albums. I just wish I’d taken photos of London during the low-level navex we did down the Thames one summer evening.
I also wish I’d had a digital camera back then!
Lovely. Ta very much.
Any reason why this thread is showing zero replies despite having 7 so far?
Great images but spoilt by the moronic generic cr*p rock soundtrack. Do they assume that anyone watching will have a short attention span?
Dave Homewood wrote, “This forum is also the only one I have seen that does not seem to have the facility to quote from a previous post, which is incredibly backwards and frustrating.
I wonder if the search engine which has been broken and ignored for about six years will now actually work?”
Dave,
According to the wise sages here, you have to pay if you want a decent, user-friendly forum. That’s despite there being plenty of other similar forums (fora?) which ask/inform before changing things and require no fee! And they have quote functions too. And they don’t ignore their users.

a actually lot dinosaurs! quite us Well for
(Rearrange both to obtain a sentence that makes sense)
And still no ‘quote’ function. Any chance of that coming back, since it’s a basic feature on every other forum I use.
Looks like a piece of caravan.
He did indeed: expect insincere tweets from multiple draft-dodger Trump.
Marathon would be VX229.
That is one grubby-looking modification line: if you compare with other western modification lines (think Nimrod MRA.4 for instance), aircraft of a far older vintage will look like new. These Backfires look like they’ve spent a long time there, and with minimal hands on.
Just an observation.
Incidentally I always thought the whole issue of describing the Blinder and Backfire with a similar designation was strange: they obviously have nothing in common.
