RE: Did US Congress pass a law

The guy on the airshow said the B-1 came from Portugal, so it first had to go to Belgium before it could reach Holland.

    Anyway, and awesome machine!!!!!!!!!!! 😀

Does anyone know where I can spot a B-52 in Europe?

    RE: American Bashing!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 13-07-02 AT 00:42 AM (GMT)]1. PII, you are an idiot !

First Britain is a member of the EU. The EU is not a joke, but frankly I don’t care what you think of it. There are enough smart people on this board to defend the position of Europe in this whole matter. I have some relatives in the US, luckily they don’t share your points of view (mixtec), not because they are tree hugging … but because they are people with common sence.

You don’t know the exact meaning of Euro-liberals. Euro-liberals are not a party meant to bash on the US. Find the meaning of ‘liberal’ in the dictionairy and come again. A liberal is not a leftist for example.

    2. Mixtec, Brad, nice to hear from you again. You know my email 😀 I hope we can continue our discussions, but lately I was a bit busy.

    2. Serendib, 100 % right. Sorry I musjudged you in the beginning, but I’ve matured, and I see we share many opinions.

I’m really getting sick of those US-is-the-best people on this forum. Biff and Elp made me laugh, you phantom, made me cry. It’s strange to see how the rest of the world shares a common viewpoint on the US.

    RE: American Bashing!

If you have read your history, you would know that european nations and most notably Russia and France suffered more than anyone else.

This is what I was trying to say the whole time. 9-11, how bad it may look, is peanuts compared to what European nations have gone through. The US is a very young nation, and still has to learn a lot. Sometimes, it would be better to listen to the ‘wise men’ who say you’d better stay out of someone other’s business. The US sees itself as judge, jury, prosecuter and executioner who decides who is evil and who’s not. People are not bashing the US because they hate the US, but if it goes on like this, more and more will see the US as the big satan.

A strong europe was extremely important given the fact that 90% of your world trade was with european nations.

For the US, Europe has always been America’s backyard. Like I said, it was not generousity that caused the Marshall plan. A strong Europe was necessairy for trading relations and most important of all, to form a bloc against the evil communism.

It is not a claim. It is a fact.

And not only in the ME, but also in Venezuela … Only a couple of months ago, the CIA supported a ‘coup d’etat’ against the democratically elected president Hugo Chavez. It’s likely he’ll become the next Castro, a new ‘evil’.

All these people were created by the OSS and the CIA with the primary task of guarding their interests. When they didn’t tow the line, they were branded as dictators and ousted. Untill then they were the bastion of democracy and voice of freedom.

True, the US should stop supporting regimes which are more evil than the ones who are member of the famous “axis-of-evil” organisation.

    RE: International Court

God knows how many son/daughters Clinton has made during his numerous trips to Europe :D. Maybe the CIA wants to start new tactics : to get Saddam on his knees by spreading scandals throughout the world. I don’t think Saddam really cares about that, but I know one guy who does }>.
