But no problem, the world can go on with or without the US, the international court will be established and will function, with already 70 nations having signed the document. And if an American soldier gets arrested in any of those countries (and has been found guilt), the US can not take any legal actions against it, ofcourse there’s always the old American “let’s bomb the ##### out of them”-gunboat diplomacy.

In recent history, were there similar accidents at an altitude of 33000 feet? AFAIK this is very rare.
