    RE: My Apologies

Glad you finally understand it! Indeed, your remarks were very rude. I don’t expect you to agree with me, in fact, that would be quite stupid, because I really try to understand the Israeli’s in this matter. But I hope this is a new start for you …

    RE: Military posts

The General discussion is here to discuss everything which is not related directly to miltary aviation. This means politics, but also tanks, naval arms … You can ask more personal questions, but there are still some basic rules here which you should respect, otherwise you’d better leave. No insults ‘ad hominem’, no racist comments (sexist comments like you did with Kelly, is also racism). If you want to discuss your favourite Kama Sutra position, go ahead. At least when you repect the ‘rules’.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 23-04-02 AT 06:49 PM (GMT)]Hi there, sorry for my late reaction.
Well, it seems you all think i’ve gone too far with my latest posts. I still stand with my believes, and I don’t think i’ve crossed a line by saying my own vision on this whole matter, or posting articles from newspapers.

First of all, I’m not a walking library or newspaper. I never said that there was only one version true and that was mine. I try to read as many newspapers as possible (including JPost on the internet), but even then, it’s hard to get unbiased information about what’s really happening. If I turn on the news, the word massacre is widely used, sometimes even too much. The only way to find out what’s really happening is to grab my bullet-proof vest, my camera and check out myself. But, due to Sharons ‘violent’ past (wheter you like it or not, he has been charged for warcrimes by the Knesset and he was also responsible for the actions against the camps Sabra and Satillah by letting terrorist groups killing innocent civilians). I don’t consider it impossible that a war crime has happened in Jenin, and if I see the pictures on TV (yes TV I know) I always get angry. As I’m not a diplomat, I think I have the right to speak freely, and as long as I don’t say anything which is racist, I don’t know where I crossed that line. I also never said that the PLO was not to blame, that they were all that innocent. Since 1988 they condemned any terrorist attacks though and they were widely regarded as the only authority which represented the Palestinians. I’m also aware that Arafat was a terrorist and in the 70’s he was responsable for hijacking an AF-flight. But situations have changed a lot since then.

    JJ.
I’ll try to answer your question, even though you’ll find new arguments. You’re always one step ahead. If a masacre took place, than the ones responsible should be brought to justice. If the UN says what has happened in jenin was NOT a masacre, than I take back my words, which doesn’t mean I approve what has happened there. Far from it …

Comet, why don’t you promote a foreign beer for a while? I know you love Belgium, but there are also other beer producing countries. (at least if you consider Heineken as beer)

Yeah, you get over it … we in Belgium are getting used of this #####.

Ooh, our leader of the Vlaams Blok already congratulated Le Pen for his victory. He’s about the only one in Europe who did so. Says a lot about these people.

    RE: Electional surprise in France

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 22-04-02 AT 05:23 PM (GMT)]Le Pen is another fine example of new born fascits in Europe. People who have voted for him, must understand that they just voted against the “egalité, liberté, fraternité”. It’s a disgrace for France this has happened, we had similar elections in Belgium 10 years ago with the Vlaams Blok, now they are the 3rd biggest party in Flanders! Voting extreme right is dangerous.

Le Pen has said in the past that the holocaust was only a detail of the WWII. The ambassador of Israel has already asked Jews to move out of France if Le Pen becomes President. Ofcourse, we know this won’t happen, because the majority of people in France want to keep democracy (for which they foughted) at all costs, it doesn’t matter if they are left or rightwingers.

The carrier-articles are really easy to make. Just random stuff. Discussing the Georgian air force ask more research, journalists who have to travel. They are becoming a bit lazy, I guess. They shouldn’t write these articles from their fancy offices in the UK, they should go in the field (if it is possible ofcourse).

yeah, but i’m also concerned about you britons, rabie. You don’t wanna end up with cancer. The British system is a lot better than in continental Europe, prices are so high people must stop smoking. Maybe something we better take over from you guys.

Name a single organized Israeli paramilitary organization, Tomel.

… the bastards who killed him would never have done it.

It looks like you answered your own question, Skythe. The rightwingers who killed Rabbin WERE terrorists of a paramilitary organisation. The man who killed him was not operating alone, a whole organisation was behind him.

RE: we have enough laws here….

Same here. What makes you think it would be different?

Well, we always have the idea of the US being a country where it’s so easy to buy weapons … and a lot of weirdo’s take advantage of it. In Europe we also have lots of weirdo’s, but before you can get a weapon (legally ofcourse) you will have to go through a series of tests. Ofcourse, this means lots of people will own guns illegaly, and in big cities (like Antwerp) it is very easy to get one. The Albanian maffia has a whole business here in illegal fire-arms, the government is doing as much as possible to stop this (like zero-tollerance in some areas).

Geforce, why won’t you answer my question: why investigate if you already made up your mind about what happened (or know what happened, as you’ll put it)?

To find the ones who are responsable and bring them justice.
