I finished the mission!! I always had a problem with the money, but once I had take over the oil field in the North with airborne infantry, my problem was solved. Killing terrorist scum with tomahawks, Humvees and Rangers :p

Nice about this game is that just building tanks won’t do the job. Small units, 4 tanks and 20 soldiers, that’s the way to attack!!

Ofcourse, the US is the strongest once again. If it wasn’t of the Scuds and Nukes, the GLA and China would be easy victims for my evergrowing evil empire 😀 😀 I already started to eat pretzels.

Well Roger you brought up a very interesting point here. And then thinking the US has the ambition to fight on two fronts: Iraq and North Korea.

Phantom. Saddam is not removed yet and democracy is not installed in Iraq so far. The thinktank PNAC (Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz) don’t think it’s America’s task to install democratic regimes in failed states. Belgium also had good intensions when we conquered CONGO. We all know what came of it.

I don’t like Saddam, I know this war is not about oil, it’s about creating stability in the region. But what the US did was very risky. History will show us who was right.

The reason why nobody argues with you is because it’s like talking against a wall.

I suppose the fact that the United States is actually doing the right thing is something that some of you just can’t possibly accept.

Again, history will teach us (and I’ll teach history PII so prepare for a new wave of leftist liberal anti-americanism 😀 :D).

    Finish the job

Give up the war: impossible. Now that would be a act against humanity. America promised the Iraqi people to get rid of Saddam, if Saddam stays in power, than he would indeed be a danger to the rest of the world, because he will be able to get all Arabs behind him and destabilise the whole region.

If you open a can of worms… Now America MUST conquer Bagdad, (even though I never supported this war) and neutralise Saddam.
Just logic people, the world changes every day.

A strange feeling: on one hand, I hope that the numbers of soldiers getting killed in action will be low, but on the other hand, I also hope this won’t be an easy victory for the U.S. As an American you might find my statement a bit pervert, but I think most outsiders understand what I mean. An easy victory would mean that the U.S. will only consider military force in future conflicts, and won’t even think about the other options.

Many people like to refer to the so called pax Americana. I don’t know why, I don’t see the link between America and the Roman Empire. The Imperium Romanum was not a country, it was the whole world known at that time. The might of the Roman Empire was totally different than the one America is showing now. And the Romans had far less resistance anyway. 😀

Anyway, America underrestimated the strenght of the Iraqi Army, and that will cost them extra lifes. And I don’t believe the democratisation process will go that easy. Iraq is not Germany or Japan.

How many gears does a Belgian tank have?
5, 4 in reverse and one normal in case they attack from behind 😀

Why are there trees planted on the Champs-Elysee?
So the German troops can walk in the shade.

How do you know Belgium is at war?
    We reverse the flag 😀

True. I never read anything from Schoppenhauer. I think the most popular philosophers nowadays are Wittgenstein, Whitehead, Sartre and Husserl.

Kaplan, I do know the guy. Well, I thougt he was also one of the PNAC-guys.
