Great shots! 🙂
The only thing I’d point out is the sharpening mask on the first BMI baby shot. When a high radius is used, you can really see the white area by the wheels. If you use a smaller number for the ‘radius pixels’ that should sort it.
Actually that’s down to using shadow/highlight to try and correct the overexposure 🙂
😮 Thanks alot guys!
Excellent shots mate! I can’t believe that’s the same Gulfstream I saw in St Maarten just a few weeks ago! 😮
Great report, Tom – Love the shots, specially the one in the park :diablo:
That’s pretty interesting. I’d say the Qatar was to blame, so welldone to the crew for telling the truth 🙂
Nice shots mate! 🙂
Great shots mate, weather looked so beautiful in all the pics. Im going there on a christmas cruise this year so will be on the beach all day xmas eve, cant wait!!!
Not a bad place to spend Christmas Eve! St. Barths is also a great place, actually the island itself is much nicer than St. Maarten but it’s very expensive because most of the people that go are rich or famous.
Bloody hell mate you didn’t lie when you said it was a huge post :p anyway, joking a side, there absouletly stunning, specially the Singapore!
Nice catch and shot, Dan 😀
Josh, the Terminal is finished now, it’s quite impressive but unfortuently I have no shots.
Thanks for all the comments 😮
Great shots there 🙂
Sam,
Just echoing everyone else’s replies, great shots and what an oppertunity for you to go there. I guess it one of those spots that is on every aviation photographers check off list to do. My wife has promised me that someday we will go there…….someday! I read somewhere that the days of standing on that beach maybe numbered, was there anything out there as far as construction and moving the road etc?Once again great shots….must admit my favourite is the Spirit Airbus.
All the best
Si
It really is a great place – For people that say it’s boring it’s just nonsense. You can just sit down have a drink and relax in the warm, the whole place is freindly even if alot of people say there pilots and know nothing about a cockpit :p If you book Expedia seems pretty good – It is slightly expensive but it’s worth it!
Thanks for the comments, more shots –

That’s it for now I think 🙂
Thanks guys 😮
Sounds sweet!
How many days were you there, did you see any more of the island other than Maho beach?
What are prices like for things like booze/food/transport once you’re there? I’d love to squeeze it into my gap year next Spring….but can’t quite get my head round finances just yet.
Check your pm mate 🙂

Thanks Jon – It’s deffinatly a place i’ll go again 😀
Excellent work mate! So did you plan this with all the jp.net lot that you know from MAN etc?
If you don’t mind me asking…how did you afford it? Was it like “well its a once in a lifetime chance so why not spend a huge amount of money”? Were you staying in the Sonesta? I’ve heard that’s even more expensive than the flights!
Dan, because we booked for 3 people we got quite a good deal – We paid a little extra for KLM but that was fine.
I have abit of money in my bank from saving it, I did quite abit of work with my dad so I got paid for that and my mum helped me out
And yeah, me, Dale and James planned it 🙂
Thanks for the comments everyone 😀
