    You scored as a Romantacist.
Romanticism encourages society to look backwards to find our solutions. Your rationale is that things were much better a few hundred years ago so we should thus look back to those times and replace them in our modern society. You believe in a simple life and that the complexities of the modern world have turned it upside down.

I agree that some of those questions are really open to interpretation, but on the whole I think its interesting 😀

Trust us, we are trying to do things, emailing MEP’s. We even phoned the staff at the Sally-B supporters group and spoke with Elly herself. We have highlighted this issue on the front page of our website – basically we are trying anything we can.

I thought my neice was very sweet yesterday, as it was her birthday and she found out about Sally-B being grounded – well she asked if she could come to the airshow so that she could put in her £20 birthday money – ok its not £1000’s of pounds that she has to offer, but this is coming from a 12 year old child. 🙂

, We rely on Oversea’s staff in many areas including Nursing and now teaching too, We benefit from this and its my bet we could not cope without them.

Oh this is a topic close to my heart. Nurses are made up of lots of Indian, Philipinno and Spanish nurses, with a mix of British nurses too. What percentages are we talking about? 30% British nurses, 70% Nurses from other countries.
Trust me I have no problem with nurses from these countries apart from if they cannot speak english clearly. The patients feel bad if they cannot understand what is being said, the nurse gets embaressed if they have to repeat what they have said more than a couple of times, some even accuse the patients of being racist………………then there are cultural differences. Sopme of my experience with nurses from different parts of India, do not use the words Please or Thank You. This really winds me up as manners go a long way with me. Well I asked them why not and it doesn’t appear in their language – my reply very tactfully was that ‘they do appear in the english language so we’ll work on you using them’ – it’s made a difference as people don’t begrudge doing things for them now. Mind you I know some english staff don’t talk as well as they can do! 🙂

The Spanish and Philippino nurses I have worked with are very different, and they do speak very good english. I guess the problem is that it is easier to find someone that speaks spanish, than it is to speak Indian. Mind you, their work is very good so these problems can be overcome.

As for Duxfordhawk, I hope that you and Lena will be very happy. 🙂

BBMF= Battle of Britain Memorial Flight – Doesn’t it take two sides to fight a war? so technically (and playing devils advocate) the BBMF could operate Bf109’s, as the Fw190’s were post BoB (although same could be said for the Dak and Spit MkXIX), which is why some people are calling for it to be renamed the RAF Memorial Flight. As some have said, that could cause confusion as the two names are just so different from each other (unlike Confederate Air Force and Commemorative Air Force, which share the same initials).

No matter what their name is, the people who are involved in the organisation do a wonderful job. 😀
