    I thought is was quite interesting that Eddie Izzard was very interested about flying and about wanting to fly a Spitfire. It shows that even famous people have their own dreams and ambitions that they want to achieve.

    As you said Hairyplane, this could have been an interesting topic to look into but people have gone off topic which is a shame. 🙁

    For those of us that do want a discussion on this topic, lets ignore the messages apart from the first one and start again from Hairyplane’s reply 🙂

    I know I keep saying it but she is so cute.

    Daz thanks so much for the link to Sharkmans World website – fantastic site! Will keep this short as just got rid of a cracking headache otherwise would chat about these wonderful creaturers for longer. Did you see the news report about that 60 year old lady doing a Steve Irwin impersination tackling a 14 ft crocodile?

    Do you reckon the council would use some of their budget for issuing 6 pairs of industrial ear defenders or earplugs?

    Sorry it was said it jest but honestly! It annoys me when people complain about being under a flight path etc – it was already there before you decided to buy your property so tough luck!

    We love it where we are as we get one or two aircraft fly over ranging from the civil stuff to “Janie”, “Fools Rush In”, and a lot of Blackbarn Aviation Stearmans. Not so keen on the helicopters from WTM though!

    Lets hope it doesn’t take too long for the funds to be raised to rebuild the hanger.

    Our thoughts are with those that work there, sad to lose not only some of the aircraft but the various artefacts etc inside the hanger.

    Sad news, but what a great ambassador for disabled causes.

    As you have said he is probably better off now, being pain free etc. Understandably its not so easy for the family and friends of the deceased to see it that way….but even though I don’t know them my thoughts are with them at this time. RIP Mr Reeve
