I then decided to head for DX and could see an a/c performing manic aerobatics in the distance, as I got near the airfield, it turned out to be what looked like a green Extra, pretty cool flying whoever it was.

Could have been Cosmic Wind, pictured here on the Duxford update website

Does anybody know how far along this Hurricane is, as the Hawker Restorations website hasn’t been updated for over a year.

I remember reading that about Glacier Girl somewhere, that it was coming over. Thought it was going to fly here, so that it could complete the journey that it never finished.

I got the Starscream icon from http://nickkelsch.com/transformers/

Its a good little museum, went there many years ago with my Grandad. While I was studying with KLM UK Engineering as part of my uni course I could see the tail of the Vulcan from the other side of the airport. The course that when through before me had the opportunity to go and do some work on the aircraft in the museum as part of their training and one of them riveted a coke can to the bottom of the Meteor

It is awaiting a new radiator or something to that effect, which has kept it grounded for the moment.

    Hello
On the Duxford site this a list of planes taking part in this airshow.
One of them is listed as a spitfire mark 1x operator P Monk.
This is a new plane or owner ?

I think this is TA805 a mark 9 spitfire that flew at the begining of the year and I think ARCO/HFL look after it.

I was unaware a ‘complete’ Hampden existed, if I can use the word ‘complete’ 😮

An intereting aeroplane, I know some parts are at the RAFM, are any other Hampdens in existance?

There is one at East Kirkby where Lancaster Just Jane is located
