The war with Georgia would have been the perfect place to introduce the Su-34, but being its largely a paper tiger they used much older aircraft instead.

The container / a pendant tank / a loading compartment

Weight of fuel of ~4000 kg, weight of a tank of ~500 kg.

In a configuration with the container without external loading minimum RCS the plane – 2 sq. m, in the container «normal fighting loading», for example 15 aviation bomb-250 kg (3750 kg), «Яхонт», 2 KAB-1500L etc.
Range with two pendant fuel tank-3000 under a wing and a tank (12100 kg + 6000 kg + 4000 kg = 22100 kg) – 5200 km

Since quadro isn’t replying, I’m going to ask you. What has been said of the following picture on sukhoi.ru? I would read it myself, but I’m assuming you have read it since it was posted there.

From conversations at different forums I have understood, that in the future on Т-50 there will be a device closing the engine. On this fighter (№51) it are not present.
It is said that MLG Т-50 it is similar MLG F-14

I believe the wheel is not stowed horizontally. It will retract and stow vertically. Look at the video at 3:15

Russian Military-air Forces now are interested in an easy supersonic fighter in the maximum take-off weight of ~10 tons, with one engine.
Works on a two-engined fighter of class MiG-29 too are conducted.
