Torch me, put the ashes in a solid gold box and bury it under Glastonbury. The inscription on the box would be “F off Time Team”. Or I’d borrow Mr Milligan’s “I told you I was ill”.

    (1) Volunteer at first, via MENCAP or similar, maybe as a driver/helper. This will get you in at the sharp end and see if you like it…and see what needs to be done and who to be contacted.
    (2) As a male you would be in demand, most carers are female and young male Learning Disabs need positive male role models to look to. And, you can lift them / help them (Rules allowing of course) etc.

My better 3/4rs is a Social Worker.

who remembers the JCB claiming 5 lives when the jib swung out, just up the road from me?

Ambulance head-on killing 3 lads in a small hatch just down the road.

Several major accidents on Spitfire Corner including several fatals, all motor bikes.

Recent biker colliding with Buzzard. (fatal)

Woman hit tree behind my gaff (fatal)

Woman clipped verge and rolled behind my gaff (seriously injured)

    All on rural roads.

Most late at night, some I hear the tyres then the crunch. I always report them to the Police. It is quite dangerous out there!

    You’re a jinx!

I find it impossible to believe that it hasn’t already been a planned and logged experiment.
If we (H.B’s) are going to move off this planet, we need to know if conception is in any way affected by a lack of or very small gravity.

Nice angles and techniques on there matey.
Yes, too many Zoomers. I personally think that zoomers only work where one doesn’t “Need” to see the stuff which is blurred. Example, on the architecture or River shots, the scene invites the viewer to see a picture if you get my drift – so the zoom is off-putting. The close up of the stoneworks however works wonderfully.
You can also create this exact effect thumpingly easily in Photoshop, and once you get good at it (Practice feathering the edges etc.) then one cannot tell the difference.
Keep up the messin around, because that’s how great shots happen….and learning points sink in.

I’ve been off forum for a while, restoring 42 old family photo’s, some from 1928! I managed to get a 2×1.5″ photo from 1931, photographed it (Far superior to scanning IMO), “Upped it” with genuine fractals, took out every spot/scratch etc., damage repaired, shadows darkened (A sharpening trick) plus lots more.
It took 9.5 hours, but it prints at A3 with totally acceptable results. Average “Repair” time was 3 hours.
Then printed in B&W – which is an art in itself, even with a print profile calibrated to the paper I use. I ended up changing the gamma to 1.5 to get something near Black Blacks and White Whites. Not quite perfik, but OK.

How to spell it isn’t the problem.

How to stop spelling it, that’s the problem.

    …another Pratchett fan I see.

However, on topic, I’m in the camp that supports Israel in all that she does.

520 days! You could answer a quarter of a million GD posts, if you had the interdoofah.

    My 5.
    Mrs Old Shape,
    My 3 kids,
    My Brother.

Work is so carp, life is so busy, I would relish the luxury of 520 days with them.
