Please explain what is wrong with IE.
Every page I search for is found and opened in less than a second.
What else do I need a browser for, if not that?

I can tell you came from Manchester PeeDee. At home, about forty miles west of you, we had real music :p

    Moggy

In 1977? The magic of Liverpool music had long died by then. JL was still knocking out good stuff but he was in Nu Yoik by then.

Identical (True monozygotic) twins throws it a bit. But that’s about all.

I’m sure there’s a recording somewhere of Noel Coward reciting that in his very clipped, upper crust accent. Whenever I read it, and it has been in no end of books, I always hear his voice.

    Regards,

If you find it, please post the link or reference. He has one of the voices which one never tires of hearing.

    Elvis.
On the day he died, I was making Lorry parts and Crane parts at a factory now demolished for the Eastland’s project in Manchester.
Radio 1 played Elvis all day. Although he had turned into a fat, waddling addict; his music was a revolution at the time. I still listen to some of it today.
The movies left a lot to be desired, but we watched them to hear the music.

Is there any technology that didn’t start its life without a Military (And Space exploration) need? BTW I know Space exploration was entirely a military need at first.
I can’t immediately think of one. Even Washing Up liquid was a bi-product of a NASA requirement (For something I can’t remember!)

As for the cultural Britain if no WW1 or 2. It would be more cultural. Let’s assume we were great pals from 1900 onwards. The border control would have gone away by what…1940 say?

I imagine, if granted, they would have just flattened it to remove its “Distraction”. The evidence would still be there for Time Team to find.
    Thankfully they didn’t flatten it.

Ignorance of the importance of history always amazes me, like using the Sphynx for target practice (Rifle – possibly artillery) for example. That was the Brits and the French.
