    Tee hee, lovin’ it!
This is why a lot of forums (Even adult ones which keep the “General” section to password access only) refrain, ney; ban Politics and Religion.
Both these [ahem] professions are littered with the scum of the earth, and in this case they are indeed all tared with the same brush. There is not one of them without an alternative agenda, usually money or odd sexual proclavities.

Jesus was just a bloke, live with it.
Belief comes from a desire to improve, which comes from basic survival instinct.

As an ignorant question, is Jesus the only “Human” version of a God or Son of God? All the other lot seem to have mystical beings created in the mind of an industrial sized Bong user.

More to the point why did he have Pandas on board? What is the point of saving something that choses to live on a diet which it cannot digest properly and obtains practically no nutritional value from? The Giant Panda spends up to 14 hours a day hunting for enough food to provide it with enough energy to hunt for food. Hardly a logical creature to preserve if you ask me.

    It’s cute and pretty.
Noah was a bloke, like a bouncer on the door he let the nice ones in and told the uglies to f off.
Wasps and Mozzies sneaked in through the vents.

It’s strange you mention that, because lately I’ve felt that the complete opposite is true – those who don’t believe in God are being demonised (so to speak).
The western world is run by people with an almost fundamentalist view of religion, like Gordon Brown (and Tony Blair before him), and Obama (and Bush before him!). The war against Iraq could almost be looked on as a crusade for them…

    I totally support you.
Jesus was an unemployed loser going round causing trouble amongst the poor. No wonder the Roman’s nailed him up. He didn’t die on the cross, just went into a coma and was assumed dead.
And yes, the CofE and the catholics are just as fundamentally flawed as the usual fundamentalist idiots. Just look at them at the vatican when the boss comes out! Brainwashed as a suicide bomber.
However, I do support any crusade against the anti-christians once they step out of line, for whatever excuse or purpose.

I would like to know how many (% of total) A/c crashed at a survivable speed and G force. In the case of the “Into the ground like a dart” scenario, most pax are dead from a whiplashed broken neck a long time before impact, very especially if a spin is involved.

Also, imagine the pikey’s on the Easyjet. It’s too much of a temptation for them to play with it.

Weight is a major hold up. When OEM manufacturers are prepared to pay min $500 (Single source weight saving) and max $3,000 (Multi-source wieght saving) extra cost per lb saved in the T.O.W. of any item then you can just imagine them adding hundreds of kilos of gas bottles etc. Yeah, right.

    Heidi, many thanks.
I will be using some of that information and it is very useful.
I (We) shop at the cheapest possible shops and only go to expensive ones for stuff that is not available anywhere else. Eg, I only used Sainsbury’s (Posh end Supermarket) over here because they were the only outlet for Root Beer! McD used to sell it but I think I was the only buyer!
Does Canada have Aldi or Lidl shops (German very cheap supermarkets, some stuff is rubbish but most is good)
I have family in the “Sticks” of Toronto too, Hamilton.

Labor, accommodation, flights, conferences, firewalling information, security, etc.

Having worked for a big company, its fairly easy for costs to mount.

I’d factored all that lot in as “Labour”. What I meant is that there isn’t any capital product involved, or vast test beds. Still looks a good deal IMO, especially if it includes the integration. All these pre-designed systems have to work together in sync and harmony, as well you know no doubt. A big and difficult task.

Knowing government organisations the won’t even build a new road to replace it. That is going to make a one hour journey into ana all day job to get from one end of the Island to the other. Where exactly has if fallen away?

Brooke. On Google Earth it is already the closest point. About 30 feet from road. It’s 5 feet now.

Deano, you need to take a long hard look from Post number 8 and see the direction you sent this thread.
As for your very last point, you asked, who the hell do I think I am. The measure of that is status and money.

Anyway, the fact remains, if a bag is missing on a FO deal, the airline is the point of contact and the one that carries the blame. On a package deal it’s the tour operator – in each case it is no matter who actually mislays the kit.

I’ve had a bag follow me over the pond to Amsterdam. I was inbound Gatwick. It was an airline van that pulled up at my house to return it, not the Handling services.

I understand. The love of flying. I suppose it’s no more expensive than other hobbies.
