If last resort for a bird in a 12 guage, then surely the scaled up response for dispatching a caravan is an RPG? :diablo:

    RPG might pass through it.

Next Gen mortar launcher, the one that calculates how many milliseconds past the window to explode. Gets the people in the room instead of wasting good ammo. But, they don’t sell them at Morrisons.

Last resort in the bird control world as Scotavia would tell you, is a 12 gauge!:diablo:

Aah, but you have to get too close. I forget the spread of a long barrel 12 bore – is it 1 yard diameter for 60 feet? Ok, at 60 feet you’re going to part his hair with lead but they can catch you in their souped up 4×4 Porche things.

What is wrong in using your ‘last resort’ method on them??

    (check post before uploading)

Last resort doesn’t work with these sort.
They are hard cases, nutters. In the days when society was also filled with hard cases, these “Thieving Gypsy Bast****” as Viz called them, would indeed be run out of town or worse. Now, the people that think they are hard are just scally no-marks who assume using a knife on a similar age/younger child is “Hard”. Also, the law would fall agin the true society member taking it upon himself to rid the town of the stench of homeless dole abusing car thieving burglars.

They are a 100% insult to the term Gypsy, I know this before anyone tells me off!
I also know Viz had to publish an apology on behalf of the Egyptian/Romanian culture.

I was prime witness to this sort of incident on the M62 in around 1990.
Car drifted right, lorry in centre lane (He had moved over correctly as there was a slip road entry coming up). Car got clipped and ended up wedged just like the video. The lorry driver did see it and stopped. The 100 yards it took him to stop made the car wheels rather flat bottomed and smoke filled the entire area.

In this incident, if the driver was a shorty, and he had music on loud he maybe couldn’t see it or hear it. Seems remarkable, but I’ve been in a 35 tonner when we went over a kerb/bollard at 20mph. Didn’t feel a thing.

    1) the A400M is not an EEC (obsolete term, BTW – it’s been EU for a long time) project. It includes only 6 of the 27 EU countries, & one non-EU country.

    2) the US DoD spends a lot of tax dollars on military equipment from Europe. T-6: Swiss. Stryker: US version of the Canadian version of a Swiss AFV. Harrier: British. T-45: British. C-27 & C-27J: Italian. M777: British. The M1A1 has a German gun, which replaced the British gun used in early M1s, the M60, & late M48s. The USMC has French 120mm mortars. I could go on and on . . .

The USCG is particularly fond of buying European. As well as the (Spanish) HC-144, (French) HU-25, MCH-65 & HH-65 & (Italian) MH-68, it is re-equipping its C-130s with British radars.

Point taken, although the Harrier was actually redesigned by the US, and a damn fine job they did of it (According to everyone I used to work with on Harrier). The Spartan was mostly designed by LM wasn’t it?
But the A400 carries more political baggage with it to swerve the DoD. And it’s far too expensive in comparison to the present A/c and the future Herc. developments. Battle damage and soldier treatment needs to be proven on it too.

It will always be the EEC to me, just like the Dyson will always be used to Hoover the floor.

There could be a sniff of a couple of Private sales in the US, but DoD would not use tax Dollar on an EEC project. Unless of course they got an outrageously cheap deal, but Airbus cannot do a cheap deal into US because the US doesn’t need a side-bung of missiles and other equipment, or an offset deal. All such are used as deal sweeteners by Airbus Military and Civil. All OEM’s do this of course, nothing new, but the US doesn’t need these, other countries do.

    RIP Colin.

Anyway can you imagine what a w===nker he would be to work for? With this type of attitude who would want to.

    Within this forum, yes.
But there are people sharing his views that would positively seek a job there.
With a workforce of such, he needs to find customers with the same view, thing is, there probably isn’t enough of them to make a viable customer base. So lets hope he goes bust, poor and destitute. Then he can crawl back under his stone.

And while all these idiots are in one place, the local chavs can go and create havoc upon them. Just a thought.
