In it’s early days, the Sport reporting (On Football anyway) was actually pretty good.
However, “Lancaster Bomber found on Moon”; sums up the target audience.

I would take the Sport and the Morning Star on the Train to London, just to see if anybody reacted. Nope.

    Vettel to win 2011.

If I recall, Senna (IMO the best of all time) had a special shimmy he used to do with the steering wheel. It was for a specific reason, not a gimmick. Anyone know what he was doing?
And, I’m British. And of course wanted Mansell to win……but I don’t mind if Johnny foriegner wins so long as they are brilliant.

I can still hear Murray Walker screaming down the Mike in those days, and the magnificent James Hunt besides him.

    Yep.
    Brainless fun is correct.
Simple story, 100% predictable apart from the very very very end.

    Nice car in it.

Does anyone know how I would go about getting in contact with the driver of A5462? I believe his name is David Noakes. I’d love to know the history of this bike.

    Tony

I suggest you contact the organisers of the London to Brighton. He was entry number 26 last year.
They will have to give him your contact details and allow him to phone you. They won’t give contact details to you. I’m sure he’d be interested in your pics/tales too.

Looking at the two machines together, I am now thinking it’s the same machine. The Struts arrangement is the same anyway. I can’t find a picture of the “Present” A5462 taken from the Port Side, like yours. The back axle arrangement looks different.
