Travel in a Boeing, but fly Airbus
personally,— Its Airbus, no competion, but there again I am totally 100% AIRBUS.
Paul.
If you,ve not made the journey up/down to Elvington then do yourself a big favour and go, the NAAFI does great food as well. If you dont come away with a good feeling all over then check with your Doctor.— You may also understand why a lot of people would like to see aircraft sent there for preservation, rather than be inturned somewhere esle.

You could be right, read a report last night that there are about 500 to chose from that could fit the bill.
Sounds like they don’t need the extra capacitiy, or why cancel A300’s when you have smaller/older 757’s, maybe their market share will not support the ordered aircraft.

“Oh I’m really Sorry, I ripped Janets top off I didn’t mean to do it they just went off in me hand!”
Yea and Anna you want to know a man that would do something like that?

BBC Radio 2 states 2 injured. Hope their injuries are light.

And that’s precisly what could kill airbus.
Got to agree with that statement, it concerns me to, markets do have a habit of changing.

Nice photos 682al thanks for posting.
I well remember going to Shawbury at the time of the Bev’s being there. A sight that sticks in the memory, never seeing one and then for the first time arriving in a coach as an ATC Cadets and seeing most of the fleet, priceless.
I stayed near Shawbury for a few days last year, the camp looked a shadow of the late 60’s early 70’s.

Hey read the comment of the NEW YORK TIMES
Paul
bucc stops here!!!!!!!!!
Wonder how much the Scrap man paid to do that?
Paul.
Airbus
Not the old Airbus are subsidized thing again.
1 By who?
2 How?
UK Government have provided loans to BAe Systems which are a 20% partener in AIRBUS.
The loans have to be paid back over the life of the programs.
Just take a look at the current bun fight to get Boeing to set up production of the 7E7 in various States in the US.
The start of this thread made the statement that Airbus had delivered MORE aircraft in 2003 than BOEING – FACT.
ACCEPT IT, who knows what will happen this or next year????
Lets just hope that they both remain in production.
HAWK
enough said.

BAE Systems is a 20% member of Airbus. They were in a win-win situation, dont get one deal (with Boeing) they still get to take part in the other.
Before anyone jumps on what I’ve just said, dont know by how much the value of either contract is to the company and which is of more value to them.
Don’t see the Government being hell bent on destorying BAE, they are just doing what any buyer should do and seek value for money from a suppiler.
Just because they are a British company does not give them the right to screw the Country.

Go to all your local PHOTO DEALERS. Ask them to show you and explain what they have got. Get as much info as you can, work out which camera fits your needs best.
Go on the net find the cheapest deal for your chosen camera print out a copy of the deal. Phone round the dealers (it saves time) ask them can they better or match any deal. Any that are prepared to do a deal will ask for conformation, give them the print out.
I have recently bought a digi camera, I used a similar route however I’d already decided who I was going to buy from if I could get the best price, my local Jessops has had one chap working for them for many years who in the past has given me good service and also once helped sort out a problem that a more senior person in the company screwed up.
