How about a direct link to the article. That’s a big site to search through.

I think some serious consideration should be made in discontinuing the missile and pursuing another avenue. The failure of these tests four out of four missiles failed to meet their design parameters in practical field tests.

I have heard accusations from a fairly reputable source. The claims were in the line that the prototypes designs were made as quickly and as cheaply as possible. Quality and reliability should be designed into a complex product from the onset of developing the final product. Apparently the early design and development team were cut to many corners and or were incompetent. From one understand there was a management shakeup, however it seems it may have been too late to save the program. Beyond a point in a program you have to concentrate on accuracy, reliability and quality control; otherwise it can be difficult or impossible to save the program.

I suspect that the basic missile mechanical design is fine. I am under the impression that the electronics seem to be the weakness. I suspect the electronics would have to be redesigned and replaced, it is questionable whether or not that is a cost effective and if it could be achieved in a reasonable amount of time.

I think it is a good concept, however they seem to have gotten lost and mixed up their priorities on the way (time line).

Even though I praised the Air Force tests on this matter; I suspect the manufacture tests and quality control and design have much to be desired on this matter.

The manufacturer is a reputable high-quality manufacturer; however I am highly skeptical of this program.

Spoiled, arrogant tart seems to think she’s above the law and too beautiful to go to prison. Anyone disagreeing can sign here-

    http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/jailparishilton/ 😀

I like THIS petition (it asks not to give her special treatment, in other words don’t treat her better then everyone else). This petition is asking to ignore the other petitions asking to reduce her sentence. This petition is asking that she serve her full term.

I am tired of “prima donnas” getting special treatment. If they do crimes like everyone else they should do time like everyone else. She should have to do 45 days, I would be surprised if the jail she goes to is one of those rich pay jails, that you can go to “work” in the day and bring your computer and cell phone in at night. I think they should go to jail like everyone else, not a hotel style jail, not get reduced sentences.

This petition asks Governor Schwarzenegger to ignore other petitions asking for clemency and show the people of California that no one is above the law. This petition asks that Governor Schwarzenegger do everything in his power to ensure that Paris Hilton serve her full 45 day sentence.

Whoever said an F-16 couldn’t be beaten?

Sorry but is real life the F-16 has a 71-0 kill ratio.

In real air-to-air combat, F-16s have compiled a 71-to-0 air-to-air exchange ratio with guns and infrared and radar missiles.

The F-16 is vulnerable because it has one engine. However for a single engine fighter it has an incredibly good safety record, one of the best, if not the best.

Being such a small light fighter with only one engine can make it fairly vulnerable to damage, however it still does incredibly well for absorbing punishment and often been able to return safely.

The General Electric engines and Pratt & Whitney engines are extremely reliable and fairly good about withstanding punishment.

In this video of an F-16 with a Pratt & Whitney engine takes a severe beating but is able to return to base safely.

F-16 Hits Trees At Ridgeline. With after mishap photos

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8tP6TuzdHE

I prefer General Electric engines in most cases. Both manufacturers are highly reputable.

General Electric’s engines also have a reputation for being tough. In one case someone left some tools in a test cell unbeknownst to everyone else. Somehow it was overlooked. They started up and ran the engine; it ate a small stepladder and some small hand tools. The engine was badly damaged, yet it still ran. They even restarted it and ran it more. They even turned their mishap into a benefit by using the incident in part of their sales pitches to document how tough some of their engines can be. (Obviously the engine I am talking about is larger than the one put in the F-16, however it demonstrates how rugged General Electric engines can be)

Even though I am biased to General Electric it is obvious that Pratt & Whitney also has a very good engine, and this video clip clearly shows that.

I think General Electric jet engines has the longest record of any major manufacturer of going without killing a civilian due to engine design or manufacturing failure. I think the airliner that cartwheeled through the cornfield was the first.

Of course a MIG-23 could down an F-16. Even the piper cub has a technical kill against a ME-109,

L-4B Piper Cub downs ME-109. Though the kill really doesn’t count, some say it does as it is a “technical kill”. Some would say the L-4B Piper Cub outmaneuvered the ME-109. 😉

What a bad jetfighter F-16 it is!….All of
advantage that F-16 is only nice looking, nothing more!

You got the nice-looking part right, but most everything else you said
    is wrong.;)

I actually learned the most write-offs of Fighting Falcons are due to even less dangerous things as Tornados: Birds. What a bl00dy aircraft!

You must be thinking of Migs or SUs, 😉

The translation is questionable, as always. From what I understand no one has said that the translations were false, however I hear that several independent translators are reviewing the tapes to see if the translations are genuinely and reasonably accurate.

I don’t doubt that there will be some different interpretation of the translations; however it will be interesting to see if the translations were deliberately misleading. I suspect the translation is close to the truth, however I wouldn’t be surprised if there is something funky.

Of course since you can’t see the costume actors mouth (or the people that called in), we cannot be positive that the audio is genuine either. However the body posture seems to match the speech patterns. I suspect if it was faked that Hamas would have already released the original recordings. If Hamas releases a recording this late in the game, I was suspect it took them all while to fabricate it.

With Hamas’s track record it wouldn’t surprise me a bit if the video and audio is real. And I suspect the translation is close.

If they think the IDF is tough, wait until the Disney lawyers get done with them!:D

That could backfire. It could end up much like USA history with OBL. The lawyers might damage Hamas in relations to Mickey Mouse, however the experience might inspire Hamas to use lawyers against the rest of the world. If that happened a few decades from now, there’s little doubt that many will blame Bush.

While I find all political (and religious) indoctrination of children utterly abhorrent.

So you think that Jesus, Woodsy the owl, Smokey the Bear, indoctrination techniques are all bad? I think there is good indoctrination as well as bad. Indoctrinating children to be bigots, racists, and terrorists/suicide bombers is pure evil.

“We are setting with you the cornerstone for world leadership under Islamic leadership. Isn’t it so, Saraa’?”

one cannot help but wonder whether an Israeli-based NGO called “Palestinian Media Watch” should be unquestioningly accepted as an unbiased and objective source of information on this issue.

So you would expect a more unbiased and objective source to be from the government? Whoever said we should unquestionably except what they are saying and that they are unbiased?

There is no such thing as unbiased. The question should be is it fair and honest bias? Are they objective? I am not familiar with the Palestinian Media Watch, however I suspect that they are much more trustworthy and legitimate then Hamas.

Looks more like Mighty Mouse than Mickey actually…

I partially disagree, however you have a good point. It looks very similar to Mickey Mouse or Mighty Mouse.

In any case they are obviously trying to capitalize on cartoon characters and use cartoon characters to indoctrinate children to be bigots/racists and terrorists/suicide bombers.

Undoubtedly a lot of companies helped transport Nazis out of Germany. However your implication by using the word “smuggle” is that they knowingly knew that they were wanted Nazis that they were transporting, and the post doesn’t seem to support that. So I would say your title is a bit hyped. Why single out the one airline? Could it be the links to the royal family? I don’t know what the answer is, however I can’t help but be skeptical. It is an interesting conspiracy theory. I really don’t see much point of investigating it unless it is for the sake of history or if they can track down some wanted Nazis, I suspect most if not all are dead now.

I don’t blame you for the title that you used, as you asked it in the form of a question, and it is an interesting question. However I really don’t see anything that supports your theory.

    Hamas honest and peaceful?

Hamas seems to be inciting Muslims to murder, it’s blasphemy.

It’s indoctrination of children to become little racists/bigots and suicide bombers.

The use of Mickey Mouse also is theft.

Same video I think, from another source.

The claim that I heard on TV that he clipped electrical lines, must be effect, not cause.

    Video should help investigation.

It does look suspiciously like GLOC
